Nails & Nails & Nails!

Happy Sunday Loves,

Hope you are all having a great weekend.  Mine is alright, still a bit grrrrr..... at that cliffhanger that Walking Dead gave us last Sunday night tho'.  I really wish they would have let us know who got the bat from Negan, grrrrrrr.......now have to wait until October to find out, dammit.  It was a pretty good finale still tho' I thought.  Now, however, my brain is going to spring/summer nice weather and our Burning Man regional to plan for in May, so, for me I got other stuff to focus on now going forward, LOL :)

Been fighting and struggling with seasonal allergies so bad too this year, the season seemed to have started a bit earlier than normal and I'll tell you, some days I have been just miserable with this allergy crap, it sucks.  Going to be looking into trying some more natural remedies for allergies soon to try to get away from having to take so many drugs to get some relief.  Allergy season sure is a bitch and I don't know about you, but, it also wears me out and makes me feel so sleepy, ugh!!!

Today I have a slew of nails I've done the last several weeks.  I like doing my nail spam posts like this and hope you do too and you enjoy all these manis I've done.

My base here is Orly "Vintage" and for the drag nails I used China Glaze "Lotus Begin", OPI "Got Myself Into A Jam-balaya", China Glaze "Glow With The Flow" and China Glaze "Cons-Ulta My Manicurist".  I then put a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on my accent nails and one coat of Fair Maiden "Glory of the Galaxy" on the rest. To do these nails I put small dots of all the polishes I wanted to use on the nail then took a toothpick and dragged and swirled the colors around.  I like this look, it was easy, but, be careful not to go too far down when dragging or you will end up scraping off some of the base color.  Will def. be trying this look again.  These look pretty cool I think.

Vintage by itself, this one is really pretty and bright.  I love it, this was from Orly's spring collection out now.
Here I did a base on all nails of Essie "Shade On" (from the current spring collection out now), then for my index finger I painted China Glaze "Spring In My Step", Orly "Risky Behavior" and OPI "Shorts Story" onto a makeup wedge sponge (wet the sponge first to help the polish not all absorb into the sponge) then transfer it to your nail to create this sponged look. I sponged a couple times onto the nail to get the opacity I wanted it to be.  I then painted one coat of Broadway Gel "Playground" glitter polish on my ring finger and stamped my middle using a Kleancolor Metallic pink (no name on these little mini bottles I have) and Born Pretty Plate BPL-023. I put one coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on my stamped and sponged nails and one coat of Indigo Bananas "SF 35 Holo TC" on my pinky and thumb nails.  I totally dig these shades of purple nails.  I love purple, definitely one of my favorite colors for sure.

Shade On by itself, it's a bit lighter than my pic is showing it as and these have it a bit more blue too.
I used a base here of Orly "Hip And Outlandish" (another from their spring collection from this year), then did the stripes using a nail art brush with Color Club "Feathered Hair Out To There", Orly "Be Daring", China Glaze "Treble Maker", OPI "My Twin Mimmy" and OPI "If You Moust You Moust", then I put a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of the striped nails, a coat of Catrice "Godfather of Pearl" on my thumb and pinky and the glitter accent is Pure Ice "Watch Me Go".  These stripes with fun to do and fun to wear, I loved them and will for sure do more stripes again in the future.

Hip & Outlandish on it's own.  This is a really pretty teal shade too that did not stain, yay!
My base here is China Glaze "Hot Flash" (a really pretty bright red from the new summer collection out now).  Then I did some random dots of polish and swirled them together with a nail art brush using China Glaze "I'll Pink To That" (also from the new summer collection), Orly "Scenic Route" (from the new summer collection) and Essie "Truth Or Flare", then a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of those nails.  My glitter accent is Spellbound Nails "The After Party" and on my thumb and pinky I did a coat of a Melly Mix I made.

I did a base for these nails of Orly "Scenic Route" (from their new summer collection and I love this color so much, it's so pretty), then I sponged on Orly "Put The Top Down", China Glaze "I'll Pink To That" and OPI "Got Myself Into A Jam-balaya" on my index and ring nails.  I used nail decals on my middle finger, did the glitter accent on my pinky with Spellbound Nails "Pearls & Pastels" and then did a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on my sponged and decal nails and a coat of LA Girl "Razzy Raspberry" on my thumb.  I love sponge nails so much, they are so, so easy to do and the end result is always really pretty in my opinion :)

Scenic Route on it's own.  I love, love, love this shade so much, it was so bright and pretty when I had it on .
My base here is Essie's "Truth or Flare", a really pretty dusty blue, I love it with dots done using a dotting tool and OPI "Suzi Nails New Orleans", OPI "She's A Bad Muffuletta", OPI "Rich Girls & Po' Boys" China Glaze "Sun of A Peach" and China Glaze "Lime After Lime" which I then put one coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of.  My glitter on my middle nails is Funky Fingers "Scattered Sea Glass" with a coat of Indigo Bananas "SF 35 Holo TC" on my thumb and pinky nails.  I love this dotticure a lot, the colors look good together and came out really pretty I think :) I enjoy dotticures too, they are easy and fun to do too.

The base I used here is China Glaze "Whip It Good", a new one I just got from their Summer collection out now. I did random dots on my indes and ring nails using OPI "Suzi Nails New Orleans", OPI "Rich Girls & Po' Boys" and China Glaze "Lime After Lime", then took a little square of a cut up baggie, laid it on top of the nail and just smooshed it down on each nail to get this effect.  Use a new piece of baggie for each nail.  I stamped my middle finger using a Kleancolor blue metallic no name mini polish and Winstonia plate W203. I then put one coat of two different "Melly Mixes" on all nails and was done.  I LOVE smooshy nails, they always come out so flippin' cool looking.  These are definitely some of my favorite smooshes to date that I've done.

Whip It Good by itself.
That's it for nails for today and this post makes me completely caught up with nail pics, yay.  Have a great rest of the weekend.  I am not doing a whole lot today since yesterday I hardcore cleaned the apartment for a potluck event Casey and I are having next weekend and want it to be just some light cleaning next Saturday and I am tired and sore today from it.  I can't wait for the potluck, our food theme is PA Dutch food and anyone that lives in PA or is familiar with PA Dutch food knows that we can make some pretty damn good food in Pennsylvania.  So, I did my nails this morning, am watching some scary movies, I'll take a bath later on, cuddle with the kitties, do some reading, hang out with Casey whenever he gets home from working a side job he's been doing.  Right now I am watching Silent Hill, I totally forgot how creepy that movie is.  Tonight then we'll watch the season 2 premiere of Fear The Walking Dead, we shall see if it's any good, the first season was just okay in my opinion.

I leave you with two cute pics of my baby bear Miss Betty kitty, she's just my heart as I've said before and so cute.  I love her so much!  I may have posted these two of her before, but, I don't care, I love these of her, she's so stinking cute in these ;)

Polish & Purrs,

Melly

Have you loved your cuticles today?
