Better Call Saul Season Premiere

Happy Monday friends ❤️

Will we see Walter White aka Heisenberg make an appearance???

Today I have my Better Call Saul Final Season premiere nails for tonight. Better Call Saul is the prequel to Breaking Bad which is one of my favorite series of all time. If you've been living under a TV rock and don't know what Breaking Bad is, in a nutshell, it's about a high school chemistry teacher, Walter White, that finds out he has lung cancer who then begins cooking meth to cover expenses and gets involved with the drug under world. It was so good! I have been loving BCS also. This season will take us to the BB timeline and I can't wait. There has been some speculation that we may see Walter White aka Heisenberg (the main character) on the series make an appearance this season. I sure hope so!!

I am looking so forward to this final season and I am so happy it is finally time. So, for my nails I did some Breaking Bad and Walter White. I love the way these came out. I think they turned out great 😍

My bases are Fair Maiden Celestial Storm (green) and Cupcake Polish I'm A Rainbow (blue) with one coat of Colores de Carol Jump on top to represent the classic blue meth in the series. I stamped using AZ Breaking Bad and MoYou London Scholar 03 plates with Maniology stamping polishes and A England Stonehenge to color the smoke on the beaker. I mixed some acetone with yellow and white polish to thin it to brush on the smoke under the green nail images.

That's all for today. Have a great week and enjoy the premiere if you are planning on watching. I leave you with Princess Pebbles as pretty as can be :)

In A Legal Jam? Well, Then You BETTER CALL SAUL!!!!

Happy Sunday,

Hello my loves, I hope you are good and that your weekend has been treating you good. Mine has been great so far. Last night my upstairs neighbor and great friend, Sarah, had a birthday party at her apartment and it was a lot of fun. Got to see some of our amazing friends and that is always awesome. I made her birthday cupcakes and they were yummy. I have a pic of them at the end of this post.

Today is super exciting for myself and my sister. Tonight is the mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead and season premiere of Better Call Saul which is the Breaking Bad (which will always be one of my most loved shows) prequel show. They are both two of my favorite shows and I get both in one night! My sister is coming in tonight to watch both with me and we are super excited. We both think Walking Dead has been great so far this season and each season of Better Call Saul has gotten better we think so it's going to be a good night. Casey will also be cooking us a good dinner too tonight :)

For my nails I decided to do Better Call Saul ones since I've done many many Walking Dead and zombie nails in the past but not much Better Call Saul of Breaking Bad, so Saul it is. I think these are super cute and they didn't take me all that much time to do which is good since I am slightly hung over a bit today after Sarah's party, LOL :)

My base is Essie "Cherry On Top". I sponged China Glaze "Happy Go Lucky" on the nails to stamp and stamped using Sinful Colors "Black On Black" with MoYou "Back to the 50's - 01" plate. The glitter on index nails is Funky Fingers "Alex's Lemonade" and on my pinkies and thumbs to finish I put a coat of Starlight Polish "Love and Beauty Shock".

Cherry On Top on it's own. Love, love, love this shade of red. It's so pretty!
There you have my Saul nails. If you watch either show enjoy them tonight.

Here's the pretty cupcakes I made. I love the frosting and pink and purple is Sarah's favorite color combo together which is mine too :)
Here's some chocolate truffles that our friend Nancy made, they are so pretty too :)
That's all for today. Have a great rest of the weekend. Here's Mom and my sister's cat, Scoot Too, in the basket I took out to the house for him. He is such a big boy and just fits in this. He's an awesome cat, so cool and sweet. So happy they adopted him several months back :)

Breaking Bad 10 Year Anniversary

Happy New Year's Eve My Loves,

Happy last day of the year friends.  So, we are at another close of another year. I hope that this past year was good for you.  My year was relatively good for the most part.  2017 was not a bad year for me at all.  Losing my old kitty, Buster, was the hardest for me and a couple of old cats at my Mom and sisters was hard too, but other than that it was not a bad year for me overall and it was a year with a good bit of fun and happy in it, so, even with the kitty deaths that were sad it was a decent year.  I have my health, a roof over my head, my job, a wonderful boyfriend, my Mom still with me, my cats, good friends and family and for all of that I am thankful and feel blessed for every single day.  Here's to a good and happy 2018 to come.

Casey and I have no plans for tonight. We are staying in and hanging with each other and the kitties and we are so okay with that.  I'll be watching Breaking Bad too, but, of course!  I do have the entire series on DVD, but since I am a loser, I'll so be watching the marathon also :) It's too damn cold out to want to go do anything anyways, plus it's super hard for me to stay up late now days so who knows if I'll even make it to midnight tonight, lol.  I am old, what can I say :)

For today's nails I don't have any kind of New Year nails.  I decided instead to do some of one of my favorite TV shows of all time ever for the 10 year anniversary marathon beginning today on AMC. That show would be Breaking Bad.  I love BB as much as I do The Walking Dead.  It's a brilliantly done show in my opinion so BB nails it is for today.  If you have never watched it, I recommend you do, this gist of it is a high school chemistry teacher named Walter White learns he has lung cancer, breaks bad and turns to cooking meth for money for his family.  There's lots of good characters on it, Jesse Pinkman is my fave character on the show that becomes Walt's partner and he says "bitch" a lot on the show and I had to show some Jesse love on my nails for today so that is why there is a "bitch" on my thumb.  The "say my name" comes from when Walt becomes his drug persona "Heisenberg" and says that later in the series to another drug guy.  The blue glitter represents the blue colored meth that Walt and Jesse cook that becomes famous in the show.

Anywasy, onto the nails.  My base was Essie "Ruffles & Feathers" (the green) and Orly "Snowcone" (the blue).  I then diluted China Glaze "Def Defying" with some acetone and used a nail brush to create the smoke effect.  I stamped using Funky Fingers "Gesso" with MoYou London "Scholar Collection -03" plate.  The blue glitter is Sally Hansen Gem Crush "Bling-tastic".  I then put a coat of Ma-Nish-Ma "Beyond Opal" on my index and pinky nails to finish.

Ruffles & Feathers and Snowcone on their own.
There you have my Breaking Bad nails.  I love these so so much and am so happy with how they turned out.  Pretty proud of these suckers :) Happy 10 Years Breaking Bad!!!! You are an amazing show and I love you!!!!!

Enjoy your New Year's Eve, be safe and have fun.  Tomorrow Casey and I will be going to our friends, Nick and Leah's, for pork and sauerkraut which is supposed to bring you luck in the New Year.  Casey made the sauerkraut himself and I'm looking forward to good food with good friends, yay :)

I have a good feel good for going into the New Year:

"Never, never, never give up."

Love it!!!

I leave you with myself, Dino and Miss Betty snuggling one day last weekend.  There's just nothing like cuddling with kitties :)

Talk to you all soon and Happy New Year!

Melly

In legal trouble?? Then, you BETTER CALL SAUL!!!

Happy Monday!!!!

Yes, it's Monday and it's a happy Monday.  Tonight is the season finale of the Breaking Bad spin off prequel of Better Call Saul. I am so excited for the finale as I think this season 3 has been so good! I am a Breaking Bad junkie so when I heard they were doing a spin off prequel show I was so excited and now it's on season 3.  They've introduced quite a few Breaking Bad characters that I like on BB and it's been nice to see some of those come back.  The gist of this show is a morally questionable lawyer turning into a criminal lawyer and his decline into the criminal world leading up to where Breaking Bad started and I LOVE it!!! I loved the character of Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad and it's been pretty cool seeing him transform into Saul we knew in Breaking Bad in Better Call Saul.

So anyways for these nails I did base using China Glaze "Flame-Boyant" (the red) and OPI "Need Sunglasses?" (the yellow).  Then I used a nail art brush and Flame-Boyant to draw the words "Better" and "Saul".  I stamped the phone using Finger Paints "Dark Knight" and Winstonia Plate W204.  I then put a coat of Starlight Polish "Sunlight" on all nails to finish. I really like how these turned out, wish I could/would have gotten the phone a better centered, but oh well, it's so hard to center those pesky little images on the nail!

Flame-Boyant (the red) and Need Sunglasses? (the yellow) on their onw.
There you have my super simple Better Call Saul nails.  If you are watching tonight, enjoy the finale and we'll see if we get a cliffhanger or not. I sure hope Nacho, my favorite character on BCS, who was not in Breaking Bad doesn't die tonight!!!  I'll be sad if he does!

That's it for today.  I leave you with Mr. Kitty, Miss Betty and Casey cuddling :)  Talk to you soon and have a great rest of the night and you BETTER CALL SAUL :)

Walking Dead & Better Call Saul Nails...better late than never!

Hello my peeps,

Hope you are good and are having an okay week.  I am alright, today was a trying day at work, but, it's fine now.  Last week I had that stomach bug/flu whatever it is and thought I was feeling better, then yesterday I was sneezing all day and got really congested, well, now I have a head cold, 'tis the season.

For The Walking Dead and Better Call Saul (the Breaking Bad spin off show) season premieres on Sunday, we had people over for a potluck of food/drink, dj-ing and then the shows.  It was a really great time and both shows were really good too. I am so happy TWD is back on too, yay!  I am a total Deadhead for sure.  I love when we do our potlucks, they are always good times with good people.  I look forward to our next one in March.

I did these on Saturday and had planned on doing a post on Sunday, but, that never happened, so, better late than never, right? I just did really simple nail art for the premieres.  I liked them, they were easy and cute. Here they are.

I love the blood splatter accent nail.  Splatter nails are so much fun to do and I love the end result.

Here's kitties of course too :)
Pebbles sleeping in a wash basket full of Winter hats, gloves, etc.
Pebbles, Buster, Dino and Betty
Mr. Kitty
The cutest little kitty in the world, Miss Betty.  She's just so cute!
Aren't our kitties just the cutest things?  We sure think so.  We love our fur kids so much, they are so spoiled, just the way they should be, and all of them are really just good cats.

That's it for now, my friends.  I am not feeling the best and going to go to bed a bit early tonight.  I am spending the night at my parent's tomorrow night to spend time with Dad and Mom with my Dad's health issues he has going on.  It's hard seeing Dad going thru this, but, I am glad that I am able to spend time with him and just be there for them both.  It means a lot to them and to me too.  I am going to do my nails out there tomorrow, so, I'll have those nails and the ones I did last night that I'll post on Thursday night.  Have a great Hump Day tomorrow.  I'll talk to you all soon.

XOXOXO,

Melly
