Yabba Dabba Doo.....

Flintstones, meet the Flintstones....

Happy Sunday loves,

Today I have some more nails in my Things I Love series...the Flintstones!!! It is my very favorite cartoon of all time. All the black cats I have had or have currently in my life all  have been named after the Flintstones. I've had Fred, Barney, Bam Bam and Dino. They have all passed on sadly. I currently have Pebbles and Betty. I still need to have a Wilma and Mr. Slate in my black cat life at some point down the road 🙂

I think these turned out so so good and I love these so much!!!!!

My bases are Nailed It Tummy Gummy (shimmer) and Nailed It Make A Wish (flakie). I stamped using Mundo de Unas The Flintstones and Mundo de Unas Mod. 500 plates with different stamping polishes.

That's all, have a great Sunday, talk soon! I leaves you with Miss Betty saying, "really. Mom, another picture!!!!". I love her so much, she is my heart ❤️

Brrrrrrrraaaaaaaiiiiiinnnssss!!!!!

Happy Sunday loves,

For today's nails I decided to do some more in my Things I Love series that I started last year. It has been a long time since I've done some.

I decided to do some adorably fun cute zombies. If you know me you know I love zombies, both movies and TV series. Zombies are definitely my favorite genre of horror. I think these turned out great. I  love these 🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️

My bases are ILNP Sundance (holo) and Red Eye Lacquer Spooky Wind (flakie). I stamped using Hit the Bottle Zombie Apocalypse, Candy Skull R-008 and Sugar Bubbles SB 076 plates with Maniology stamping polishes.

Here are my zombie nails with the I love zombies sticker on my car. I love this little decal zombie. He's cute!
Have a great Sunday. I leave you with our tabby tiger boys Charlie and Mr. Kitty chilling outside yesterday.

Heartland

Happy Monday Loves,

Hello friends. I hope you had a good weekend. I did. Saturday I went to dog school with my mom to help out with a puppy graduation class and it was fun as usual. My mom used to be very active in this school, now she just goes to watch the puppy classes and I sometimes go out with her. We have fun.
Then on Sunday we went to a church we used to go to that an old family friend has played piano at for years. He is retiring from playing and the church had a retirement party for him. That was very nice seeing Bob and reminiscing.

Today's mani I did yesterday which was actually a take 2 version. I had done them last week but was not happy with how the one horse and the horse and rider images came out. They are part of the bigger image with the mountains and trees and smeared when I transferred them. So, this time I reverse stamped the images without the horses and then stamped them on later by themselves and that worked out so much better. I do have the first try after the take 2 version for you to see also.

When I got this plate I knew I wanted to do some Heartland TV show nails with this plate. As soon as I saw the plate it screamed Heartland to me. Heartland is one of my very favorite shows ever and I love these and love the way they turned out :) Heartland is such a feel good show and if you haven't seen it I highly recommend it. It is so good in my opinion. I am a big fan! It's based in Canada and has horse stories along with people stories and it really does do your heart good watching it.

My bases are Different Dimension Hydra (shimmer) and Emily de Molly Win Me Over (flakie). I used MoYou London Noel 16 plate and all Maniology stamping polishes.

Here are my first try with it. See the smears, it's not terrible, I just was not satisfied with the smears.

My bases are Rogue Lacquer Flotsam! Jestsam! (green) and Bluebird Lacquer Cooped Up (blue). I stamped using MoYou London Noel 16 plate with different stamping polishes.

Have a great Monday, talk soon. I leave you with a picture of my dear sweet Dino who we lost in March. I miss this kitty so much, sniffle...He was such a great guy.

Read More Books

Hello my loves,

Hope you had a good New Year. I did. It was quiet and I did not even make it until midnight, lol, and I am so okay with that 🙂

Today is just a quick post. I'm trying to get back into the swing of full work weeks again and I am a bit tired today after work.

Now that the last three holiday months are over I am going back to my "things I love" series. This time it is books. I love books and love reading. I spent a lot of time this past weekend reading a book about a cat that I am about half way through reading currently. It's cute and I am enjoying it.

I think these book nails came out really cute. Hope you like them too 😊

My bases are Different Dimension I Lilac You A Lot (shimmer) and Emily de Molly Letting You Know (flakie). I stamped using Maniology XPolishedJess M057 with different stamping polishes.

That's it. Have a great night. Talk soon!

Huh...Huh...Huh....Heh...Heh...Heh...

Happy Huh...Huh...Heh...Heh...Tuesday My Loves,

Hello my friends. I hope you are doing well and that your week is okay so far. Mine has been okay! I did go to church with my Mom this past Sunday since I won't get to on Mother's Day. I will be at a horse show volunteering and Mom will probably come over to the show after church so I will get to see her still on Mom's Day.

Today I have more nails in my "Things I Love" series I have been doing. Today's love is Beavis & Butthead. I have loved that dumb show since it first aired way back in the day and have never stopped loving it. It is so stupid, but stupid good in my opinion :) I absolutely love how these turned out and am so happy with them. I did the blue base and pink to represent the dingy blue wall and couch in their house. This was also the first time I shrunk images and I had no issues at all. It was super easy but I did off center Butthead on my left hand since I was not using clear stamper heads when placing them on my nail. You cannot use the clear heads to shrink images or they can break so I used some of my old silicone heads I had lying around still. Even with Butthead off center I think these turned out great and I am so happy with my Beavis & Butthead nails, huh....huh....huh.....heh.....heh....heh.......

My base is Different Dimension "Everything I Brew, I Brew For You".  I sponged Maniology "Fairytale" on the nails to stamp. I stamped using Sugar Bubbles SB 100 plate and many stamping polishes. I used a nail art brush and Funky Fingers "Dark Knight" to draw the words.

Everything I Brew, I Brew For You on it's own, love these muted dusty shades!

That's it for today, have a great Tuesday, talk soon. I leave you with Mr. Kitty looking too cute in one of Casey's gardening boxes! This cat is so funny and so cute, I am happy he's my kid :)

Things I Love...American Saddlebred Horses ❤

Happy Caturday My Loves,

It's the weekend, no work, yay :) Hope you are having a good weekend so far. I am doing okay. The weather is supposed to be snowy and freezing rain later on today so not looking forward to more winter weather but other than that all is well.

Today in my "Things I Love" series I have my very favorite breed of horse, the American Saddlebred. Back in the 90's I worked for a show horse barn that was an amazing experience for me and I am so fortunate and thankful that I got to work with and be around this awesome breed of horse. The family I worked for, the Nash's, are also the best people in the world and became a second family to me. I worked for them part time up until they moved from Pennsylvania to Kentucky in the early 2000's. It was hard to see them go and I miss them every single day. The Nash family has such a special place in my heart for always and forever. I have so many fond and wonderful memories of those days at their barn and being in the Saddlebred horse show world. I have had three of my own Saddlebreds over the years. I do still have the last one that was in my life at my Mom's. He is 25 years old and is the last horse our family will have as horses are very expensive and labor intensive to own and my sister and I are getting too old to want to do it much longer now days.

Anyways, the American Saddlebred is such a proud, beautiful, game, talented and just such a fancy breed of horse. Ever since I was a little girl old enough to tell that there was a difference in some horses I was just so fascinated by them. I truly do not think there is anything more pretty than a Saddlebred. They are high stepping by nature and want to show off which is why they are so wonderful in the show ring. They do however excel in other areas too such as jumping, combined driving or just a nice stroll on a trail. They are very versatile and are a super personable breed of horse so they are fun to be around since they do love their time with people! They are so much fun to ride and to drive too!

You can learn more about the American Saddlebred Horse and see lots of pretty pictures of them  here https://www.asha.net/ and here is a good quick You Tube video about the breed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1H0eOYGQet4&list=PLPlpjDUN2On_mzBWAg-2EaGM8wi2IqWPC&index=12&t=6s. Search You Tube and Instagram also for more about them. They are mesmerizing to watch!

Anyways onto the nails. I did do these twice, the first ones I did didn't turn out quite the way I wanted them too. I was going for a twilight look but it was too dark so then last night I did these daytime look ones and they turned out so much more awesome. I have the original first mani below these if you want to see them. I did not hate them just wasn't what I wanted to represent the breed on my nails. The horse image was from an acrylic plate so it was a slight learning curve for me with scraping and picking up the image. Once I got the image picked up clear I was in love. I am so happy to have this plate in my life so I can do Saddlebred nails whenever I want now. I did get this horse themed plate thru a Facebook group many years ago now and this was the first time I used it. I did have to draw the tail longer with a black nail striper as the image was a cob tail horse which is a horse that has a very short tail. But just adding the tail completely transformed it into a Saddlebred horse from what appeared to be a Hackney Horse breed (look them up, they are super pretty horses too).

Here you go, my American Saddlebred nails. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these! Hope you like them too :)

My bases are ILNP "Top Down" (blue) and Starrily "Grinch" (green). I did brush some ILNP "Sundance" on the nails to stamp for the grass. I stamped using Maniology "Limelight", "Bam White!" and "Straight Up Black" with ZZ Forest 2, Clear Jelly Stamper CJS-138 and a plate I got from a Facebook group years ago that doesn't have a name on it.

ILNP "Top Down" (blue) and Starrily "Grinch" (green) on their own, love these as the base for these.

Here below is my first shot at them, see, they are not horrible, just not great, but, oh well, that is the lovely thing about nail polish, if it is not what you want, just take it off and start over, lol.

My base is Polish Me Silly "Paradise". I stamped with Maniology "Rind", Twinkled T white and Maniology "Straight Up Black" for the images with Clear Jelly Stamper CJS-138, ZZ Forest 2 and a plate I got through a Facebook group several years ago. On the other nails I put a coat of Polish Me Silly "It's Magic" and "Sparkle Me Silly" flakies on to finish.

Paradise on it's own, this is an awesome multi-chrome, wish I could take pics to do it justice, it has a green and teal shift to it also but only the navy and purple showed up in these under my kitchen lights.

There you have my American Saddlebred Love nails. Saddlebreds will always have a special spot in my heart adn soul. I love the breed so so much!  Have a great rest of the weekend, talk soon. I leave you with my old man American Saddlebred, Dusty Bucks. He is the best horse. He is such a good boy with a wonderful personality. He's my boy and I love him so much! Even in his old age he is still so handsome!

Things I Love...Nail Polish & Nail Stamping ❤

Happy Monday my loves,

It's a new week! Hope your week is starting out well. Mine is ok, work was not too bad for a Monday!

Today I just have a quick post. I'm in some pain today with my hips. Last year my hips started really bothering me. It's arthritis and I am going to have to bite the bullet soon and go get them checked out, ugh. Getting old is not fun, sigh.

I am going to be doing a series beginning with today's mani for "things I love". It fits to begin this with the Valentines Day holiday coming up. I do not buy into the whole one day to show your love commercialized nonsense, I think you should show love every day. I do, however, love hearts and pink, so thought it would be fun to do this series leading up to the love nonsense day, lol. It will go past Valentines Day so keep watch for more to come :) For the first in this series I have some super cute nail polish bottles and stamper stamping since as you well know I LOVE nail polish and nail stamping. Since this is a nail blog I feel it is most appropriate to begin with nail polish love themed nails! I am absolutely in love with these nails and these images make me so happy. This plate has several adorable nail polish and nail related emoji images on it and it is just so cute. Hope you like this mani too  ❤

My bases are ILNP "My Little Glacier" (thumb, index  & pinkie) and Starrily "Magic Rainbow" (ring & middle). I stamped using Whats Up Nails "Neither Noir" stamping polish for the outlines with Maniology Kawaii Emoji BM-XL325 and Bundle Monster Classic Beauty BM-XL355 plates. I colored the images in with a Twinkled T pink, Maniology "Monarch Dream", Maniology "Rave Babe" and Funky Fingers "Gesso" polishes. On top of my thumb and pinkies I  put one coat of Pacifica "Rainbow Gloss Top Coat" to finish.

ILNP "My Little Glacier" (thumb, index  & pinkie) and Starrily "Magic Rainbow" (ring & middle) on their own, so pretty together!

That's it for today. I'm going to be whiney and yuck the rest of the night with my hips, bah...

Talk soon and have a great week 😍

Melly
