Chocolate Bunny Nails & My Real Chocolate Bunny :)

Happy Hoppy Easter :)

Happy Easter Sunday if you celebrate. I am not doing anything today but staying home. I will be going to see my mom mid week this week for lunch of her ham leftovers that she is making today for herself and my sister that lives with her. Normally I go to church with her on Easter and then we go to Casey's family for dinner. Casey is at fishing camp since fishing season opened here yesterday. I'm enjoying my time by myself with the cats and the bunny. Next year I am thinking (hoping) things will be back to normal and I will be going to church then dinner.

For my last Easter nails of this year I chose to do some chocolate bunny nails in honor of my real live chocolate bunny. I've been saying for years now to Casey that I wanted a real chocolate bunny for our next bunny pet and I got one when Miss Sissie came into our lives back in early November. She totally reminds me of a chocolate bunny and I am so happy she is in my life. I finally got my real chocolate bunny, yay :)

I love these nails, think they came out so cute and am very proud of them. Hope you like them too!

My bases are Penelope Luz "Charoite" (thumb, index & pinkies) and I.L.N.P. "Heather" (ring & middle). I did put one coat of Polish Me Silly "Glow Girl" on top of Heather" to give a bit of an Easter grass look with the flakies in this polish. I stamped with Beauty Big Bang XL-103 plate and Twinkled T brown for the outline. I colored to images in with Maniology "Annato Clay". I used a nail art brush and dotting tool to do the ribbons and eyes with Maniology "Monarch Dreams", "Maui Gold" and "Jazzercize" polishes.

Charoite and Heather on their own.

Heather with a coat of Glow Girl on top. Love these flakies on top!

There you have my chocolate bunny nails. So in love with these! Here is Miss Sissie (and my nails) when my upstairs neighbor/friend Sarah helped me with putting a ribbon on her to make her look even more like a chocolate bunny. I think she looks too stinking cute :) She is such a trooper too, she did not care at all about this ribbon being on her. She is such a good rabbit. We love her so much!
Here is Sarah holding the chocolate bunny, she is just the cutest bunny in the world!!! She is so good!
That's if for today, have a great Easter, talk soon!

Chocolate Bunny Goodness

Happy Sunday My Loves,

I hope you are well and that the weekend and life is treating you good :) Just a super quick post today. I'm working on doing some Spring purging of stuff around home this weekend. I love purging stuff and getting rid of stuff. It is so cleansing and feels good :)

Today I have some chocolate bunny nails. When I was a kid it was the chocolate bunny I always looked so forward to in my Easter basket. I would always save them for last to eat since I didn't want to "destroy" them too fast, lol. I still love the look of chocolate bunnies even though now days I don't eat them so much. I think these are adorable and hope you like them too!

My base is Essie "Going Guru". I did the bunnies using China Glaze "Community", Color Club "Feathered Hair Out to There", Color Club "Meet Me at the Rink", China Glaze "Kill 'Em with Kindness", Essie "Groom Service" and Sally Hansen X-treme Wear "Dabbler". The glitter is Pretty & Polished "Sand Art". I put a coat of Ozotic "Beam 908" on my pinkies and index nails to finish.

Going Guru on it's own. This is a perfect Easter shade of green I think!
Have a great rest of the weekend, talk soon. I leave you with Mr. Kitty and The Girl, our real life bunny, hanging out one day. These two are really good friends and it's the cutest thing to see :)

Chocolate Bunny & Peeps Nails

Happy Friday love bugs!

How is your Friday?  I had off today from work so I did some re-organizing of my nail polish and nail stuff.  Glad I got that done, also made some fresh hand/nail scrub, read some, watched some TV, hung out with the kitties and Casey and went to run a couple errands and so excited, I found Sally Hansen Gel "Let's Get Digital" which is a sparkly top coat that I've been searching for 2 plus months now, so excited I have this now, yay, using it in my Easter nails I'll be doing tomorrow  :) So, I had a good day off :)

Onto the nails, I did these on Tuesday night and I love them.  The two peeps were hard to do, but, they still kinda sorta look likes Peeps (I think) :) The chocolate bunnies I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.  They came out way cuter than I even imagined, so happy with these :)

For these nails I used a LOT of different polishes.  My base was China Glaze "Don't Be Shallow" with one coat of Ozotic "Sugar 903" on my pinky and thumb nails.  For the chocolate bunnies I used China Glaze "Fois Gras", China Glaze "Happy Go Lucky" and OPI "No Room For The Blues" (for the eyes) and Color Club "Feathered Hair Out To There" and Color Club "Till The Record Stops" (for the ribbons).  For the Peeps I used LA Girl "Leap", China Glaze "Daisy Know My Name?", OPI "If You Moust You Moust' and Finger Paints "Spun Sugar".  For the eyes I used "Fois Gras". I then put a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of the bunnies and Peeps to finish.

Don't Be Shallow on it's own, this is from the current China Glaze spring collection out now.  It's a really pretty blue, but, a little sheer and jelly-ish, but, if you use two careful coats it's opaque in two coats.

Here's Casey one day napping with Dino, isn't this just so cute?  I love it so much, the kitties really do love him so much and so do I :)))

I'll talk to you all soon and will get my last Easter nails up by Sunday.  Have a great rest of the night :)
