Walking Dead Nails

Happy Dead Day, Yay!!

It's Walking Dead day, yay!  Last Sunday the Season 6 Premiere was on, but, I didn't get to watch then since I was at our Burning Man regional event.  I hate missing it, but, oh well, I dvr'd it and Casey and I watched it on Monday when we got home.  It was so good.  I can't wait until tonight's episode, I can't wait.  These nails I did before we left for PDF, our regional event, so these nails were both my PDF and TWD premiere nails. 

A few weeks back on a nail blog I read, she had shown some nail stamping using a stamping plate from a company called Uberchic that sells nail stampers and nail stamping plates.  This plate is called "Zombie Love" and it's limited edition and it's all zombie related, but, even better is there are some Walking Dead images on this plate too.  Stamping plates are metal plates that have images etched into them that you paint polish onto, then scrape the excess polish off, then you use the stamper to pick the image up, then transfer it to the nail.  I have only ever stamped a couple of times, but, since I got this plate, I am so about getting some more (I have a huntin' themed one that I plan to use for Openin' Day of Deer or the Holy Huntin' Holiday in late November).  I used a base of Orly "Harmonius Mess", then stamped using Sally Hansen Extreme "Black Out" to stamp Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon (squeee..), the zombie and the Don't Open Dead Inside, then I put a coat of Sally Hansen Extreme "Shake Shake" on all nails and was done.  I love these so much and can't wait to play around with this plate some more, yay.

Here is the plate I used.  Look at the Rick Grimes, Daryl and Abraham images.  I love them and it also has Look at the flowers on it, I squealed a bit when I saw that and you can even stamp Walking Dead on your nails too.  I love this plate so much, yay, damn walkers :)  Now, there needs to be one done for Breaking Bad and the original 90210, LOL, two of my other all time favorite TV series :)

I do love how these came out.  I did stamp on the other hand but, they didn't come out the best.  I need a better stamper and some better stamping polish too for my future stamping.

Well, that's it for now.  I'll post my Candy Corn-icure later on today or tomorrow.  I have been getting so much done around home today and got stuff off of my to do list and that is awesome and now I want to do some more stuff, then later on get ready to chill on the couch and watch Walking Dead and then Talking Dead too.  So happy to have my WD and TD back on Sunday nights yay.  I now start my weekend with Z Nation on SciFi channel Friday nights, then WD to end my weekend on Sunday nights, yay for zombies......ahhggggaaaahhhhhh...aaaaaa.........

Surprise, It's Glitter!

Happy Hump Day Loves,

We made it thru Hump Day, yay.  Last night and today were kind of emotional days for me, stuff to do with the husband had me really upset and angry, but, I don't want to get into it right now.  So, it was rough, I cried a lot last night and here and there today, but, I am feeling better now and hanging out with my Casey.  I am really so thankful to have him in my life and that he's there for me too, he's great :)

Onto the polish.  Today I have four different glitter manis to show you using the four glitters I got from the six glitter collection, China Glaze Surprise Glitters that were out last year.  You can still get them online thru some online shops and Amazon too.

The four I have are below, left to right, "GLimmer More", "I'm A Go Glitter" (cute name I think), "Shine-Nanigans" and "Glitter Up" (I love this name, it's cute).

Glitter Up

Purple Palazzo Pants on it's own.

I used a base here of OPI "Purple Palazzo Pants" with "Glimmer More" on my accents with a coat of Pure Ice "Selfie" on the rest.  I dig this OPI, it's a new one from the Venice collection out now.  I love pretty much any creme purple cuz' I LOVE purple :)

Glimmer More

I used a base here of China Glaze "Rose Among Thorns" with "Glimmer More" on my accents and China Glaze "White Cap" on the rest.  This one was pretty.

I'm A Go Glitter

 

 

 

Teal Unreal on it's own, not color accurate, my camera just couldn't get it right.

 I used a base here of Orly "Teal Unreal", this is such a pretty teal, but, it is a stainer, double up on base coat and use swipes from cuticle to end of nails when removing or you will get Smurf nails, ugh.  I then used I'm A Go Glitter on my accents and Sally Hansen Diamond Strength "Diamonds" on the rest. I love Diamonds, it's been one of my fave sparkle top coats for quite a long time now, it adds such a pretty sparkle without drowning out the teal base :)

 Shine-Nanigans

 

 

Warm & Toasty Turtleneck on it's own, this is a really pretty dusty purple, I dig it!

Used a base of Essie "Warm & Toasty Turtleneck", then Shine-Nanigans on my accents and a Melly Mix (I mix different sparkle top coats together) on the rest. These were really pretty too.

I thought it would be fun to do a post with the glitters I had from this particular collection and plan on doing more of this in the future.  It was fun.

Walker Sunday Nails A Week Late :)

 Happy Dead Day/Night,

It's Fear The Walking Dead Day/Night, yay.  Last week's premiere episode was pretty good and tonight is really good, the World is going to shit in a hand basket, I love it :)  Anyways, I got lots to say, but, since these nails are a week late and FTWD is on now, I am writing this during the commericials, you'll get just a little chat tonight and the full chat tomorrow night when I get my next post up hopefully which is about mani bombs or bath bombs for your hands, nails and cuticles, they are luxurious :)

I did these last Sunday for the Fear The Walking Dead premiere/potluck I had, didn't get a chance to post then or at all this week, it was a long week.

Onto my dirty blood splattered walker nails, these were lots of fun and so Walking Dead like, yay :)

Abstract Nails

Hello Again Peeps, 

I've got, gasp, gasp, gasp a second blog post up tonight, yay.  This makes me happy I am caught up with my nails now on my blog, yay, and I am doing a different font too on this post, hope it's pretty looking.  I chatted last post, so, onto the nails.  

These I did using a nail art brush to do the lines.  I like them, wish I could get my lines a little more straight and narrow, but, oh well, I still loved these anyways :)  

I used a base of Orly "Push The Limit", used Orly "Glowstick", China Glaze "You Drive Me Coconuts", Sinful Colors "Endless Blue", Finger Paints "Leonardo's Lime" and Orly "Be Daring" for my accents and used Indigo Bananas "Rainbow All The Things" on the rest.    

 

 

 

Push The Limit on it's own, trust me when I say this is way brighter than my pics show, it's a pretty bright polish.

That's it for those nails.  I will be doing some black cat nails tomorrow for Black Cat Appreciation Day on Monday and I do plan to have them up by Monday morning for my favorite "holiday" of the year, yay for black cats.

Glitter.....Glitter.... Glittah!!!

Happy Caturday Friends, 

Hope you are all having a wonderful Caturday. It's been a long ass time since I posted on a Caturday, so, happy I am today, yay!  I love Caturdays, it's the weekend.  My day has been uneventful, went out and cleaned the horse stalls, then putzed around home doing some laundry and doing some nail polish crafty stuff.  Today I was painting lighters with nail polish, they come out really pretty.  I also decorate small mint tins that I use to put my pills and meds in in my purse.  I also paint baby food jars that I put all my hand creams in which is way prettier to have sitting around than tubes and jars that the creams come in.  I'll post some pics in another post of some of the fun nail polish crafts I and many of my friends do too.  I love decorating stuff with nail polish in addition to my nails 'cuz, well, I do indeed LOVE nail polish, yay  :)

Today's post is glitter nails I've done in the past week or so.  I am going to continue to group my glitter nails together in one post when I do glitter nails, it's easier this way than a single post for each, don't cha think?  I sure do. 

Here you go, glitter, glitter and more GLITTAH, yay! 

 

 

Bonna Blue on it's own, you can get this one at 5 Below, it's a nice pastel blue and bright to boot.

I used a base here of Fresh Paints "Bonna Blue", one coat of Sinful Colors "Baila Baila" on my accents, then Red Carpet "Make Up Time" on the rest.  

 

 

For Audrey on it's own, it's Tiffany Blue and it's a classic, all polish whores should have this one ;)

Here is a base of China Glaze "For Audrey", with Sally Hansen Triple Shine "Fanta-Sea" on accents and an unknown no name sparkle top coat on the rest.

 

Imperial Purple on it's own, it's a pretty purple.

 Base here is Milani Color Statement "Imperial Purple" with Venique "Meshing Around" on accents and Ozotic "905 Beam" on the rest.  The Ozotics Sugar and Beams that I have I love, some of my favorite sparkle top coats.  They are pretty.

 

Be Daring on it's own.  Another really pretty purple, purple is my favorite color, so, of course I love it, derp.

Base here of Orly "Be Daring" with Finger Paints "Sparkle With Me" on accents and Ruby Kisses no name polish.

 

 

 

Suzi Shops & Island Hops on it's own.  A really pretty pastel pink, I love pink almost as much as my purple, so, of course I love this one too ;)

 Here is a base with OPI "Suzi Shops & Island Hops" with accents of Rica "Bottled Unicorn Fart" (This is an indie, she has a shop on Etsy and you so should buy this polish, the girl that makes this is also in my one small polish group I am in on Facebook, so, that is cool) then Finger Paints "Sparkle Top Coat" on the rest.  I loved these, I love neon glitter so much, it's so much fun and I love that I am able to support an indie polish maker too, yay.
