Fall Dotticure

Happy Sunday/Walking Dead Day Loves,

Hello my friends, I hope you are well and that life is good. It's good my way. Last night we went to good friends' Post Post Halloween party and it was awesome seeing our amazing friends. It was fun :)

Today I was pretty lazy and had a pretty lazy day, but I did do these nails this morning. I hadn't done a dotticure in while and thought that it would be nice to do a Fall one. I love doing dotticures. They are so easy and quick to do especially on a lazy day. Hope you like these as much as I do :)

My base is Essie "On the Bright Cider". I dotted with OPI "Piazza Cake", China Glaze "Give Me S'more" and Sally Hansen X-treme Wear "Bare It All". The glitter is Sally Hansen X-treme Wear "Ripple Effect" and on my pinkies and index nails is a coat of BaronessX "Topacio".

On the Bright Cider on it's own, a wonderfully warm Fall shade.
Here's more rocks I've painted and either hidden or given away to people since my last slew of painted rocks post. I am having so much fun painting rocks. I love it!
Here's ones my friend, Niki, and I made together one afternoon.
Love these bonfire ones I did. They are so peaceful and I'd love to be hanging out by any of these fires :)
These two I painted to go live with my Dad's and his hunting buddy, Randy's ashes at our camp.
Here they are at camp with Dad and Randy. I know they'd love having these rocks with them!
Rocks I did of our camp, one I kept, one went to my brother and the other one to Pat, my Dad's last man standing friend that he hunted with and was one of his best friends.

The rock on the left I left at one of our neighbor's camps when I saw their rock on the right :)
Halloween rocks, I love all of these so much!

These are for my boyfriend, Casey and his Dad for their love of deer huntin'

Made this one for a client of my sister's for encouragement.

This one on the left my Mom made for her two dogs she has and the one on the right my sister made. I love the headless cowboy, it's funny. She made it for a friend that loves cowboys for Halloween, ha ha.

That's it for today. Have a great rest of the weekend and a great week. I leave you with Gypsy and Mr. Kitty :) Talk soon loves.

Buttons, Buttons, Buttons

Happy Sunday My Loves,

Hope you are having a good weekend. Mine has been okay, uneventful. I cleaned and then hung out with my sister last night. I haven't been 100% the past week or so due to allergies. They've been so awful this year and I've been so miserable, ugh! I think it's how wet and rainy it's been that seems to be making it worse this year, oh well, life goes on!

Today I don't have much planned but a pretty lazy Sunday and I am so okay with that :)

For the nails today I have some cute little buttons I did this morning, me thinks they are cute. These shades of purple but look more blue since my camera really struggles with purples. These were easy, just dotting tools used. I used to love going through my Mom's button tin when I was a kid and checking out all the different buttons, buttons are cool :)

My base is Essie "Shade On". For the buttons I used dotting tools  with the following polishes: Orly "Charged Up", Orly "Saturated", Orly "November Fog", China Glaze "Spontaneous" and Sinful Colors "Snow Me White". The glitter is Pretty Woman "Purple" and on my pinkies and index nails I put a coat of Color Club "Pearl-Spective" to finish.

Shade On by itself, it's way more purple in real life, but my camera has a super hard time with purples.
Have a great Sunday, talk soon. I leave you with Miss Betty and Mr. Kitty. Miss Betty loves her brother so much and he's a great brother to her too, it makes my heart so happy :)

St. Paddy's Day Skittles Dotticure

Happy St. Paddy's Day my loves,
.
It's green beer day, lol.  I don't really have a whole lot to say today. This was a rough week. We had to have my Mom's dog, Dash, put to sleep on Wednesday. He was fine then on Monday he was not, sigh. Mom took him to the vet Monday morning and then she had to take him to an emergency vet on Tuesday for around the clock care. It turned out he had pancreatitis, diabetes and cancer. The vet said he had a mass in his lungs, sigh. It was a really hard time for my Mom, sister, Tina and me being with him through the end on Wednesday. He went peacefully. It just really sucks since Mom only had him about ten months. So, now we are on the search for another dog of Lab type for her to rescue. I'll be doing some Dash nails soon. Hug your pets extra hard each and every day as we never know how much time we really do have with them, sigh.

So, since I was not that motivated to do any nail art I decided to go simple this year with some green skittles and dots. I think these did turn out pretty. Hope you like them too.

My bases are thumb to pinky, Essie "Da Bush", China Glaze "Be More Pacific", OPI "Hey, Get In Lime", Essie "Mojito Madness" and OPI "Thanks A Windmillion". I did the dots using Revlon "Gold Coin", China Glaze "Passion", Essie "Million Mile Hues" and Pop-arazzi "Going For Gold". The glitter on my middle nails is Sally Hansen Mega Strength "Wild Card" and on my thumbs and pinkies I put a coat of Starlight Polish "Sunlight" to finish up this mani.

Polishes on their own from thumb to pinky, Essie "Da Bush", China Glaze "Be More Pacific", OPI "Hey, Get In Lime", Essie "Mojito Madness" and OPI "Thanks A Windmillion".
That's it for today. Here's a picture of Dash. It's so sad and my heart hurts. He was a really good dog, sigh.

Happy Hedgehogs & Happy Dots

Happy Friday Love Bugs,

It's Friday, yay, and I have the day off today, yay. So, I get a three day weekend, whoot. I do have to take a kitty to the vet later on today for her snotty nose allergy issues she gets and then tonight my sister is coming in to hang out but other than that I am having a pretty lazy day!

This morning I did some hedgehog nails. Let me tell you these were a lot harder to draw than I thought they would be. I kinda love these and think they turned out so cute :) I then decided to add some dots and I think they look super cute with the hedgehogs!

I did two bases here, the darker is Sally Hansen X-treme Wear "Pinch of Punch" and the lighter is China Glaze "In A Lily Bit". I used nail art brushes and a dotting tool to with several different polishes I did not feel like typing out to draw the hedgehogs and dots. I then put a coat of Different Dimension "Cold As Ice" on the others to finish.

Pinch of Punch and In A Lily Bit on their own, both of these are so pretty!
Have a great rest of the day and a wonderful weekend. I don't really have anything planned this weekend so it's going to be a lazy one and low key and I am okay with that.

I leave you with today Dino and Miss Betty snoozing, aren't they so cute when they cuddle together? I love it! Talk soon :)

Sparkly Dots

Happy Monday My Loves,

It's Monday and I am off work for the Labor Day holiday today in the U.S.  On Saturday my sister, two friends and me met our cousin that we hadn't seen in years at a local Scottish Highland festival.  It was such a fun day. But, I was hurting tho'.  That morning before we left I was sweeping the floors and turned somehow and felt something in my lower back pull. I've been in severe pain since then, ugh.  I didn't do anything yesterday and plan on resting my back today before going back to work tomorrow.  Back pain sucks.  I have spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spine and arthritis) in my lower back so I think with whatever I did on Saturday it's worse because of that.  I am suffering right now, but it will get better in a few days I hope.

Today I have some dots I did sometime a few months back, can't actually remember when and never got around to posting.  I think these are really pretty.  Hope you like them too :) I love dotticures, they are pretty and so easy to do.

My base is Essie "All Access Pass". I did the dots with a dotting tool using Nicole by OPI "It's All About the Glam", China Glaze "DV8", China Glaze "BFF", China Glaze "IDK" and China Glaze "2NITE". I put a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of the dotted nails and Color Club "Jingle Jangle" on the rest to finish this mani.

All Access Pass on it's own.  Love this one, it's such a pretty blue!
That's all for the nails for today.  Here's a good feel good for the day also :)

"Love yourself first and everything else falls in line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world."

Lucille Ball said this one.  I love Lucille Ball and think this is great.  Have a great day and I'll talk to you soon.  My day is chilling on the couch with the kitties and resting my back on a heating pad.

I'll talk to you soon.  I leave you with the boys, Mr. Kitty and Dino snuggling sleeping one day :) I love it when the kids cuddle, it's so cute :)

Radioactive Green Dotticure

Happy Sunday/Happy Dead Day!!!

Hello my friends, I hope you are doing well and having a good weekend. I am having an okay one, cleaned here at home and my Mom's house yesterday and cat sitting from yesterday morning thru Tuesday evening, so I've been busy.  I also got super ambitious and dusted all my polish bottles off and did a pretty big purge of polish that will get gifted to a few friends.  I had to purge some, it had been a long time since I dusted my babies off and purged, it was long overdue!

Today I have some super bright radioactive looking green and yellow nails I did this morning.  I find this green kind of super ugly yet kind of super cool too, lol :) I also kind of love these nails, they are really bright and fun I think.  Hope you like them too!

I started with a base of China Glaze "Def Defying" (the green) and China Glaze "Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" (the yellow).  I used dotting tools with China Glaze "Spring Jungle", China Glaze "Girls Just Wanna Have Sun" and Color Club "We Liming" to do the dotted nails.  I put a coat of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength "Diamonds" on the green nails to finish.

Def Defying (green) and Yellow Polka Dot Bikini (yellow) on their own.
That's it for nails for today.  I hope you have a great rest of the weekend.  I am just kinda chilling today, then going for my evening visit to the cats I am taking care of, then it's Walking Dead tonight, yay!

Here's a good feel good for today:

"Fall seven times, stand up eight."

Love this one!!!!  I'll talk to you all soon.  I leave you with lazy kitties, Miss Betty, Dino and Mr. Kitty :) Don't they have such a hard life, lol :)
