Easter is for Bunnies

Hoppy Monday,

Super quick post today. I'm under a lot of stress currently. My sister is in the hospital since Saturday being treated for severe fluid build-up in her entire body. The docs suspect heart failure. She's getting more tests done today. I am taking care of all 12 cats that she has at mom's. She lives with mom so now mom is by herself and that has me stressed too. Here's to hoping they get her under control and she can go home and make big lifestyle changes for her health.

I did do these yesterday as I did need some normal and self care myself. These are the first of my Easter nails for this year.

Bases are Bluebird Lacquer Where'd You Get Those Peepers (shimmer/flakie) and Holo Taco Frozen Benanas (flakie). I stamped using Maniology M465 and M466 plates.

That's it. Keep my sister in your thoughts, prayers and send healing positive energy our way. I'm so stressed out!

Hoppy Easter 2023

Happy Easter loves,

I was going to go to church with my mom today, then we were going to paint eggs and have ham but I am still suffering with this horrible head cold for over a week now so we are going to wait to do Easter stuff until closer to my birthday later this month. It doesn't matter to us that it will be after the actual holiday. We will still have fun painting eggs for my birthday 🙂

So, today, Casey will see his family but I am staying home resting again to try to get better. I had a very busy week this past week and I think that's why I am still so sick. I am slowly getting somewhat better. Colds just have to run their course. It's been in my head and has not moved to my chest at least.

On to my nails. I love these cute little bunnies and carrots. I think they turned out too cute!

My bases are Cupcake Polish St. George ( shimmer), KB Shimmer I'd Pick You (flakie) and Bluebird Lacquer So Eggscited (glitter crelly). I stamped using Uber Chic Yay Spring! and Simply Polished Spring plates with different stamping polishes.

Have a great day if you celebrate. I leave you with Miss Sissie ( brown) and our dear sweet old rabbit The Girl (white) that we lost back in 2020. I still miss her every day. I am so happy we have our sweet Sissie girl now. She is a very friendly loveable bunny.

Hoppy Easter friends!!!!

Bunnies, Bunnies, Bunnies

Happy Sunday Loves,

I hope you are well and that you had a good week and are having a great weekend. Mine has been good, yesterday my Mom had a home visit from a Lab rescue and it went really well so hopefully they will have a new dog suitable for her to adopt soon since losing Dash three weeks ago. It sure is weird with no dog at Mom's, it sucks actually. So, here's to a new pup soon :)

Casey and I went to a family reunion on his side of the family last night and that was nice. I always love seeing his family and getting to hang out with them. They are such good people and I love them so much :)

Today I have my first Easter nails of this year, some cute little bunnies and carrots. I love these, they are cute. I think this is the third year I've done bunny nails now and I love doing them so here is this year's edition. Hope you like them too :)

My base is Orly "Wild Wisteria". I used several different polishes that I didn't keep track of to draw the bunnies and carrots. I put a coat of Ozotic "Beam 905" on my thumbs and pinkies.

Wild Wisteria on it's own, I do love me some vampy shades like this :)
Have a great rest of the weekend. I leave you with our real live bunny, The Girl, yes, that is her name, lol :) Talk soon xoxo

It's Easter Time!!

Happy Hump Day Loves,

We made it the middle of the week, yay :)  Hope your week is going well, mine is going a-okay.  Well, this season of The Walking Dead is officially over now and holy shit was that a good season finale, at least in my opinion.  It was so good.  I loved it!!!!!  Can't wait for season 8 now!!!!

Today I have the three Easter manis I've done so far for you.  I still have 2 or 3 in mind to do before the holiday gets here next week. Easter is one of my favorite times of the year cuz' it's Spring and I love all the pastel colors and my birthday is coming up later this month too.  I've been having fun with these Easter nails and love them, hope you do too :)

For this first one my base here was Loreal "Paparazzi Pleaser".  I did the bunnies and carrots using nail art brushes.  I put a "Melly Mix" on my thumb and pinky to finish. Love these, I think they are so cute.

Paparazzi Pleaser on it's own.
For these chick nails my base was China Glaze "Re-fresh Mint".  I then used nail art brushes and dotting tools and a a few different polishes I didn't take note of to draw the chicks.  The glitter on my thumb is LA Girl "Neon Circus". I put a coat of BaronessX "Esmeralda" on my index and pinky nails to finish this mani. I love these too, my favorite is the little chicks on my middle nails.  I think they are just so adorable.

Re-fresh Mint by itself, I've had this one for a long time too and it's always been one of my fave pastel greens :)
Then, for these egg nails I did a base of Essie "Strike A Pose-itano".  I then used a nail art brush and dotting tool with some pastels to do the egg design.  I then put a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top.  I put a coat of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Disco Ball" on my thumb and pinky nails.  The glitter on my middle is Alchemy Laquers "Pyrotechnics". I love these too and they make me want to decorate eggs which I haven't done in years!

Strike A Pose-itano by itself.  I just got this one and love it :) It's from the current Essie Resort collection out now.  I love it, it's really pretty!
There you go, my first Easter nails of this year.  Hope you liked them too, I sure do :)

Today's feel good for you is:

"Live well."

So simple but true, love this one.

Have a great rest of the night, I 'll talk to you soon.  I leave you with what else, but kitties!!! Here's Buster, Dino and Miss Betty lounging and lazy.  I love this pic, it's cute.  I do indeed love cats and am a proud crazy cat lady for sure!!!

Melly
