I Believe!!!!

Happy Memorial Day Loves,

Today please please please stop and remember all of those that gave their lives for us so that we can have the freedoms we have and live in the country we do. It is so important to remember the ultimate sacrifice those men and women made for little old me and you and you and you!

Casey and I made our first camp trip of the year to our family camp in Potter County. It was a rainy but still super fun and nice weekend. I love being at our home away from home. There is just something about those mountains and camp that do something so good for your soul. I am so thankful we have this amazing place to get away to. It was originally my dad's camp and now my brother owns it. He sadly doesn't get to go up much so Casey and I go to keep camp maintained and just enjoy it. I have many pictures after my nails.

For my nails I decided to do something totally fun for this weekend. I went with Big Foot aka Sasquatch. I love Big Foot and the legend of Big Foot. I think it's fun and cool and who knows, maybe he really does exist. I know I sure do BELIEVE :)

I think these came out so good and I am so happy with them.

My bases are Wildflower Lacquer Resplendent (shimmer) and Painted Polish Roasted & Toasted (flakie). I stamped using The Stamping Shop Supernatural and Kinsmade The Stuff of Legends plates and different stamping polishes.

I found Big Foot!!!! I found him at the Coudersport Ice Mine. I knew he existed. Here he is with my nails :) He does exist, by golly, HE IS REAL!!!!!

There you have my super fun Big Foot nails. I had so much fun with these and had a blast wearing them this past weekend!

Here is our beloved camp, it's a 1939 school bus that was converted. I love this old thing beyond words!
Some stuff my Dad had on the bus that will always be on the bus :) We don't and have not changed much around since my dad passed. This place honors my dad and his memory. This camp was his heart and now it is mine too. I also feel the closest to dad here than I do anywhere else since his passing.

This sticker just truly never gets old. I still giggle every time I look at it. It is funny!
Around camp. It was so pretty and so Springy still with all the yellow and chartreuse colors. I love it!

This is going up the mountain road where we go to get water refills.

The Wharton General Store and Tavern. This place is great. Been coming here for years and way back with my dad.

The phone with no phone!

This bridge is full of swallow bird nests. So many of them.
The view from camp. This was Saturday morning after all day raining on Friday.

Scenes around camp.

The picnic table here my dad made. It is so solid and is holding up so well. I think we, well, Casey, that is, is going to stain it this year to protect it further for years to come. It means a lot since Daddy built it!

The mountains again from camp.

Looking up at our trees at camp.

More random camp pictures. I could not get enough of the pretty shades of yellows and light greens this weekend. I love these colors so much!

HERE HE IS!!! HE IS REAL!!! I KNEW IT!!!! Love love love this picture. This Big Foot is at the Ice Mine we go to a couple times a year. We love that place and hanging out there. It is such a neat natural phenomenon and it is really peaceful and serene there. The people that own and run it are so nice also.
Big Foot and me!

The ice in the mine. The tarp is on due to the heavy rains. Normally the tarp in not on it.

A lookout that we usually stop at to take in the view. I love that it is mountains for as far as the eye can see. It's so beautiful.
We have a bird nest on the stove pipe on the bus.

We saw this guy at camp Friday morning. I think he was the coolest wildlife we saw all weekend. He is so cute!

Me in front of the bus Sunday morning! I love this dear old bus so so much!
Me so sad, I don't want to leave camp.
That's it for today. Have a great holiday. Talk soon!
