Horse Show 2021 Nails Compilation

Happy Wednesday my loves,

Today I have a compilation post of the different horse themed nails I have done this year for some of the horse shows I volunteered at. When I was a kid and thru my 20's - early 30's I showed horses and this was one show grounds/show association that I showed at many many many times over the years. It is one that holds so many good memories and great times for me. So, this year I felt it was time for me to give back by volunteering since so many people did it back when I was showing horses. I man the one show ring's gate and help out in the show office. It is a lot of fun for me. I had not been to any shows for quite a few years then last Fall I decided to go to one when my boss told me his nieces were showing there. I ran into old horse friends and made some new ones that day. One friend asked me to help him out at the end of year show and I did. After that told them I would volunteer this year and I did at every single show that was held. It was so much fun for me and so nice to see old friends and make new ones.

This past Monday night I attended the membership meeting where I was nominated for and accepted an open position on the board for the show association for the next two years. I look forward to serving on the board and to next year's show season.

Onto all the nails. I did not do horse nails for each show as some of the dates did overlap with other important nail dates/themes. I did enjoy all of these and it was fun doing so many different horse nails this past year. I do still have to do some horse nails in memory of my horse, Dusty Bucks, who we sadly lost to old age on August 4th but I am not ready to do that just yet, sniffle.

Now the nails:

My bases here are Cirque Colors "Flamingo" (thumb, middle & pinkies) and Rogue Lacquer "Mad Tea Party" (index & ring). I stamped using Creative Shop 2S and 23 plates with Maniology and Clear Jelly Stamper polishes.

Here my bases are POP Polish "Cold Shoulder" (ring & middle) and Cuticula "Fin-Fetti Cake" (thumb, index & pinkies). I sponged on Fancy Gloss "Caribbean Green" on the nails to stamp to create the grass. I stamped using Fig Tree Plate FT02 with Maniology "Bam White", "Annato Clay" and "Straight Up Black" stamping polishes.

My bases on this is is ILNP "Save the Date" (ring & middle) and Polished For Days "Orchid Glow" (thumb, index & pinkie). I stamped using Creative Shop 180-Ukraine plate and all Maniology stamping polishes for the images.

The bases on this one is Dam Polish "Gotcha Green" (thumb, index & pinkies) and P.O.P. Polish "Slush Fund" (middle & ring). I stamped with Clear Jelly Stamper "Horsin' Around" plate and Hit the Bottle "Shadows of Darkness" polish.

That's it for the horse nails I did this year for the shows. It was fun doing so many horse themed nails. I'll be ready to do more next year when the shows start up again!

Here are some pictures from some of the shows I took :)

Forest Fox In Fall

Hello my loves,

I hope you are well and good. I am good my way. I had a busy but good weekend. Saturday I volunteered at the cat and dog vaccine clinic that I help at once a month. Then on Sunday I was helping out at the year end awards presentation for the horse show association I volunteer at. I was in charge of making up little gift bags for the little kid division winners. I have some pics of that and some rocks I painted at the end of this post.

Today I have some more fun Fall nails. I think these woodsy foxes came out so cute and I love the brown holo base.

My base is ILNP Mona Lisa. I stamped using Maniology MXM065, Whats Up Nails B033 and Uber Chic Lively Leaves 03 plates with Maniology and Hit the Bottle stamping polishes.

Hope you enjoyed these today 🙂

Here is what I put in each gift bag and the rocks I painted for the bags. I had so much fun making these up for those girls.
Here are the rocks I did. I love these all and did keep two of them for myself to enjoy. I put one at home on my nail desk and one on my desk at work.

Here is the set up of awards and ribbons. There was a good turnout and the weather was beautiful. It was nice!
Have a happy Tuesday, talk soon.

Let's Go To the Pumpkin Patch

Happy Friday, Yay 😊

It's the weekend. I have a busy one. Tomorrow I will be at a cat and dog vaccine clinic that I volunteer at once a month. Then on Sunday I will be at the year end awards presentation for the horse shows I volunteer at. I was in charge of getting little gift bags together for the little kid division high point kids. It was fun and I am excited to see everyone get their awards. I'll post pics of that next blog post.

Today I have some cute pumpkin nails. I think these turned out cute. Next time I use the trucks image I am going to use them as individual stamps instead of the full nail stamp. I think they will be better that way. Either way I love these!

My base is K.B. Shimmer Hidden Potential with one coat of Holo Taco Lunar Unicorn Skin on top of my index, middle & ring nails. I stamped using Whats Up Nails B071, Maniology MXM066 and Uber Chic Hello Fall & Pumpkin Spice 2 plates with all Hit the Bottle stamping polishes.

That's all for today. Have a great weekend, talk soon. I leave you with Miss Betty cleaning her mommy last week when my sister was here and she got some pictures of us. I love when she does this even though those little sandpaper tongues hurt I let her do it because it just warms my heart so much! I love this little girl. She is truly my heart.

Happy Got You Day Miss Betty ❤❤❤

Hello My Friends,

Today is a very special day, my favorite of the year. Today is seven years since Betty and I came into each other's lives. I adopted her from my cousin's parents when I was looking to adopt another kitty and they had a litter from some outside cats that needed a home. They live in the country so they always had people dropping cats off. They have gotten them all fixed and homed so now they are down to just a couple, yay!

From the first time I laid eyes on this little lady she had my heart. There was just something about her. The bond we have is so strong and so special. She is my little side kick. I love all of our kitties, but she is my heart, my love kitty! We cuddle, we snuggle and we just love each other so much. She is my baby girl. She is so stinking cute too. I mean, just look at her, she is the cutest!
For this year's nails to honor my baby girl I did some black holo cat stamping. I think these turned out so cute and I love them!

My base is K.B Shimmer Frequent Flyer. I stamped using multiple plates and holo stamping polishes that I am way too lazy to type out this time 😜🤪

Here are a few of my favorite pics of Miss Betty :)

Have a happy Monday, talk soon!
