Orange You Glad It's Shark Week!!!

Happy Shark Week!!!!

It's here, one of mine and most other people's favorite weeks of the year, SHARK WEEK!!! I love this week on TV, it's so educational and you really do learn so much about the different species of sharks there are out there.

So, of course for the week I have some Shark Week themed nails. This year I decided to change it up with my base color and decided on a nice summery orange shade as my base. I was feeling bored with the shades of sea blues I had used other years so this year orange it is, plus this way I was also able to do a fun blog title, ha ha :) :) Hope you like them. I do and they were super easy to do this year too :)

My base is China Glaze "Good As Marigold". I stamped using Sally Hansen X-treme Wear "Retro Grade" with Lina Born to Sail 02 and Uber Chic Uber Mini Nautical plates and "Retro Grade" to write "Shark Week". I then put a coat of China Glaze "Better Than Nectar" on my thumbs and pinkies to finish.

Good As Marigold on it's own, love this shade!
That's it for today, have a great rest of the week and I'll talk to you in a week or so after we get back from camping in the mountains at our camp next weekend.

Enjoy Shark Week. I know I sure will, already have our DVR set up to record many of the shark shows on this year, yay :) I leave you with Princess Pebbles in a box, who'd a thunk it, a cat in a box, ha ha ha!

Grazing Horses On A Hot Summer Morning

Happy Sunday Loves,

It's so hot hot hot here. Hope it's a bit cooler wherever you are. Today thankfully is the be the last day of this crazy heat, then tomorrow temps go to more normal for July in this area.

Last night there was a Santacon Christmas in July edition and the Santas stopped by our place for a stop on the Santa crawl. It was fun, we served White Russians with candy canes as a garnish. It was yummy. The irony was not lost on us having a Summer Santacon on the hottest day of the year so far, lol. Hope we do another summer one next year :)

Today I have some grazing horses on this hot Summer morning. I really love the way these turned out, so freaking cute me thinks, hope you think so too :)

My base is China Glaze "Show 'Em Whose Blossom". I sponged OPI "Jade Is the New Black" and OPI "Gelato On My Mind" on the nails to be stamped for the backgrounds and used a white striper to draw the fences on my index nails before stamping. I stamped using Funky Fingers "Dark Knight" with Creative Shop 12 and YF 156 plates. I put a coat of Starlight Polish "Farore" on my pinkies and thumbs to finish up this mani.

Show 'Em Whose Blossom on it's own, perfect background shade for these I think!
Here's a couple pics from last night and Christmas in July, Merry Christmas :) Here's Teddy and Jarrett being goofy :)
That's me in the striped pants and all of us with our White Russian drinks :)

That's it for today, have a super fantabulous Sunday and we'll talk soon friends. I leave you with King Dino surrounded by all the cats toys, lol :) He played till he played himself out, ha ha :) :)

No Drama for these Llamas!!

Happy FriYAY!!!!!!

It's finally Friday, yay, yay, yay! It's been a long work week and super hot outside too. It's been in the 90's and today and through this weekend with the heat index it's going to feel like 110°, ugh! So not looking forward to being outside at all these next few days, ick. I don't mind heat but this is too much! It's also so humid out. I need to move to a dry acrid no humidity desert state, I am looking at you Arizona or New Mexico :) I'd be completely happy in a desert climate but would miss my Pennsylvania mountains.

Today I have some silly little fat necked llamas I did this past Sunday that I didn't get to post about until today. I think they turned out super cute even if they are a bit fat short necked, ha ha. Hope you like them too :)

My base is Essie "Strike A Rose". I drew the llamas using nail art brushes, a white striper, a black striper and Loreal "Go Nude". The glitter on my thumbs is Essie "Galentine" and on my index and pinkies is a coat of Color Club "Million Dollar Listing".

Strike A Rose on it's own, pretty shade for Summer!
That's it for today, have a great FriYay and I'll talk to you soon. I leave you with a cute pic of Miss Betty sniffing something here :) I love her so much, she's too cute :)

July 4th Weekend in Potter County, PA

Happy Tuesday My Loves,

A bit of time no talk! The last couple of weekends we've been pretty busy. Two weekends ago we were up in the mountains camping at my family camp and went to see fireworks, then this weekend I was busy around home and then at the hospital with my Mom, she had dislocated her hip and had to have it relocated. She is okay now thank goodness!

I did some fireworks stamping on my nails for our July 4th weekend in the mountains but was really disappointed in the polishes I used for stamping so didn't really care for these nails. Oh well, such is life!

My base is Essie "Take the Lead". I stamped using Kleancolor "Metallic Sapphire" and "Metallic Fuschia" with Sugar Bubbles SBS 09 and SBS 12 plates. I put a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of those. The glitter is Color Club "British Invasion" on my index nails and on my thumbs and pinkies is a coat of Fair Maiden "Glory of the Galaxy". I am not too pleased with how the Kleancolors stamped, they didn't do crisp images and smeared so I think these are going to go into the craft polish piles, sigh, which sucks because these are super cool shades, oh well!

Take the Lead on it's own, super pretty blue.
Here's some gorgeous falls in a creek on the way to camp. I love it here, so pretty!

The bus at night with it's pretty lights we put on :)
Our fire!
Here's a bow target we got our friend Amy who went with us as a gift.

The backstop target that Casey built for at camp to target shoot.
Part of the east fork of the Sinnamahoning Creek.

There were so many wild flowers in bloom this trip up this time. I was loving all the pretty flowers.

A few of the only half decent fireworks pics I got. It had rained a good portion of the day so it was pretty heavy with humidity that night so couldn't get many good pics.

That's all for today. Have a great night and I'll talk to you again maybe tomorrow when I post my llama nails I am currently rocking :) Have a great night!
