Wood Grain for the Woodsmen Show

Happy Monday Loves,

Couple weeks no talk. The last couple weeks have been pretty busy for me. Last weekend we were up in the mountains camping and this weekend I was busy with a cookout my sister and I went to with old horse friends and catching up on stuff around home since we were away. When we went up to camp there was a Woodsmen Show going on not far from us that we went to on Friday and Saturday. They have wood carving,  lumberjack and horse pulling competitions. I had not been there in years since I had gone with my Dad when he was still alive so it was really nice getting back there this year. We had a really good time. I also saw a bear both mornings early in camp. It was super exciting. I love when we have bear activity in or by camp as long as it's not too close to me :)

For my nails I did some woodgrain and tree stamped nails for the Woodsmen Show. I think these turned out really nice.

My base is China Glaze "Pixilated". I stamped using China Glaze "Unplugged" with Whats Up Nails "B010", Uber Chic "12-03" and Uber Chic "2-02" plates. The glitter is OPI "Gold Key To the Kingdom".

Pixilated on it's own, the perfect base for these I think!
Here's some pictures from our trip up. These here are at the Woodsmen Show. It was so fun.

This is Wycoff Run, a super pretty spot we stop at every time on our way to camp.

Here's looking over Conrad where our camp is at. So gorgeous, I love it up there.

Here's looking up at our camp, you can see the bus up there :)
The bus, our beloved home away from home :)
Here's a dam on the way up to camp, also super gorgeous!

While at camp I decided that I was going to collect some rocks to bring home to paint some Potter County mountain scenes on to gift to my brother and a couple of neighbors at camp. Well, I had so much fun doing these that I decided next trip up I am going to collect quite a few more and make some to give to all our neighbors up there and some other Potter friends too. Here's the four I've done so far. I had never painted rocks before and am really proud of how these turned out. I can't wait to paint a bunch more :)

Here's also one I did of a starry night sky that I ended up giving away to the wife of the couple whose home we went to for the cookout. I love the glitter stars on this one :)
Hope you enjoyed this super long post full of pictures :)

That's it for tonight. Have a great rest of Monday, blurgh.. I leave you with some pics of Princess Pebbles looking cute in some old pictures I found of her :)
