Rockabilly Will Never Die

Happy Caturday,

Hello friends. Quick post today. I'm trying to get some cleaning and stuff done at home after being sick. I am finally feeling better thank goodness. I did these rockabilly nails this morning and am absolutely in love with these. They turned out so cute 😍 Hope you like them too.

My base is Holo Taco Pink Fizz with one coat of F.U.N. Lacquer Amethyst (cannot see the flakies at all though) on my index, middle & ring nails. I stamped using Maniology M228 and different stamping polishes for the images.

Have a great weekend, talk soon. I leave you with Princess Pebbles being too cute ❤

Olive You, Oh Yes I Do!!!!!

Happy Monday My Loves,

I hope you are well and healthy. I am recovering from being sick for the last week and a half. I am pretty sure it was covid. I did not get tested as I was home for that time frame but my gut tells me it was. I was absolutely miserable and was never quite that sick in my life. I did lose my smell and taste for a day, had a fever off and on for a few days, was coughy, sneezy, so congested and just felt terrible. I am so thankful I am vaccinated or I may have ended up in the hospital with how sick I was. I am back to work today and on the mend, just very exhausted feeling now. I am feeling so much better, not 100%, but way way better than I was thank goodness.

In that time I did not do my nails at all. I was too sick to do them and I had my farm themed nails on up until last Thursday. Then yesterday I finally mustered up the energy to do these super cute and super fun olive nails. I almost passed on this stamping plate when it first came out but now that I have it I am so happy that I did not pass this plate by. It is too cute and too fun! I will end up using it again sometime in the future. I think these are so darn cute, hope you like them too :)

My base is Rogue Lacquer Birthday Sprinkles with one coat of Rogue Lacquer Sunshine, Daisies, Buttermellow on my index, middle  and ring nails. I stamped using Uber Chic Olive the Things with Maniology stamping polishes.

That's it for now. I leave you with my little nurse kitty caretaker Miss Betty. She did not leave my side thru my sickness. She knew mommy was sick and needed her close. She is my baby girl, I love her so!

PA Farm Show 2022

Happy Thursday,

Hello my loves. Today's nails are farm themed since this week is Pennsylvania Farm Show week. This is a very large agriculture event for our state and one of my very favorite things to go to each year. Last year it was canceled due to covid. This year it is back. Normally we go on Thursday but are sitting this year out because of covid numbers being way up again. I am vaccinated but just don't feel comfortable going this year since it is all inside. We have been watching it on a local cable channel that airs it all week so at least we have that. I will miss seeing all the animals and the food. Maybe next year will be more normal and we will go then. I hope so.

Supporting the small farmer is so important to me and so dear to my heart. It does really bum me out not going but at least I can show my support this year thru my nails. So, here they are. I am so happy with these and in love with how they came out. They make so happy!

My base is Polished For Days 2022. I used Quixotic Polish Arctic Glow for the sky on the stamped nails. I used Maniology M102, Whats Up Nails B061, Lantern and Wren Critter Comfort and Lesly Bambino 1 plates with different brands stamping polishes for the images.

That's it for today. Please support your small local farmers wherever you are. We need them. Talk soon!

Brrrrrr....It's Cold Outside...

Happy FriYay,

We had our first snow of the season overnight last night. We got about 5 inches or so. It was a light fluffy snow. It was a bit nice to see some snow. I just hate the after effect of snow with removing it from cars and sidewalks, etc. That is snow no fun, ha ha!

I did these nails last night for the first snow. I think these turned out so cute even though I did mess up her eyes a bit coloring them in, oh well, I still love these :) I think the white stamped snow on the blue flakies look so pretty and cool!

My base is Whats Up Nails Lost Frost with one coat of Rogue Lacquer Delphinium Out of Water on my index & ring nails. I stamped using Whats Up Nails B049 and Lina 4 Seasons Winter 01 plates with all different stamping polishes.

That's it for today's post! Have a great Fri-Yay, talk soon :) I leave you with pretty Princess Pebbles! She is such a pretty lady!

Read More Books

Hello my loves,

Hope you had a good New Year. I did. It was quiet and I did not even make it until midnight, lol, and I am so okay with that 🙂

Today is just a quick post. I'm trying to get back into the swing of full work weeks again and I am a bit tired today after work.

Now that the last three holiday months are over I am going back to my "things I love" series. This time it is books. I love books and love reading. I spent a lot of time this past weekend reading a book about a cat that I am about half way through reading currently. It's cute and I am enjoying it.

I think these book nails came out really cute. Hope you like them too 😊

My bases are Different Dimension I Lilac You A Lot (shimmer) and Emily de Molly Letting You Know (flakie). I stamped using Maniology XPolishedJess M057 with different stamping polishes.

That's it. Have a great night. Talk soon!

Happy 2022

Happy New Year!!!

It's a new year. The past year had a couple downs for me personally but it was mostly good. The main sad for me was my horse dying back in August and then my mom's dog dying a few weeks after that. Other than that it was good. I have a job, a home, my health, Casey, family, friends, my pets, our family camp and my volunteering stuff I do. I am very blessed and fortunate with my life and take the ups with the downs. That just is this game called life.

I am looking forward to 2022 and horse show season starting again. I am missing the shows and ready to volunteer again this year along with the cat and dog vaccine clinics that I volunteer at monthly.

I look forward to more nail art fun. I plan on returning back to my "Things I Love" series along with many other fun stuff I have planned for my stamping and nails.

But, first, can we just talk about the major world sad from yesterday and hearing of Betty White's passing!! I really feel sad and like the world lost such a good soul. She was such a great advocate for animals and for that I've always been a fan of hers plus she was just the cutuest. R.I.P. Betty White, the world is definitely a darker place with her passing :(

Today's nails are some pretty simple stamping I did for the occasion. I think these turned out cute. Hope you like them too :)

My bases are Starrily Magic Rainbow (silver) and Black Magic (black). I put one coat of Emily de Molly Summer Sparkler 2.0 on my thumbs and one coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust on my middle and ring nails. I stamped using Uber Chic New Year, New Digits and Maniology M079 plates with different stamping polishes and regular polishes.

Have a great New Year Day, talk soon. I leave with our sweet, dear old man, King Dino. He's become such an old fogie kitty. I love him dearly and do not look forward to the day when his time here is up, sigh. In the meantime I cherish and love every second I have with the old guy. He's my boy and such a good cat.
