In A Legal Jam? Well, Then You BETTER CALL SAUL!!!!

Happy Sunday,

Hello my loves, I hope you are good and that your weekend has been treating you good. Mine has been great so far. Last night my upstairs neighbor and great friend, Sarah, had a birthday party at her apartment and it was a lot of fun. Got to see some of our amazing friends and that is always awesome. I made her birthday cupcakes and they were yummy. I have a pic of them at the end of this post.

Today is super exciting for myself and my sister. Tonight is the mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead and season premiere of Better Call Saul which is the Breaking Bad (which will always be one of my most loved shows) prequel show. They are both two of my favorite shows and I get both in one night! My sister is coming in tonight to watch both with me and we are super excited. We both think Walking Dead has been great so far this season and each season of Better Call Saul has gotten better we think so it's going to be a good night. Casey will also be cooking us a good dinner too tonight :)

For my nails I decided to do Better Call Saul ones since I've done many many Walking Dead and zombie nails in the past but not much Better Call Saul of Breaking Bad, so Saul it is. I think these are super cute and they didn't take me all that much time to do which is good since I am slightly hung over a bit today after Sarah's party, LOL :)

My base is Essie "Cherry On Top". I sponged China Glaze "Happy Go Lucky" on the nails to stamp and stamped using Sinful Colors "Black On Black" with MoYou "Back to the 50's - 01" plate. The glitter on index nails is Funky Fingers "Alex's Lemonade" and on my pinkies and thumbs to finish I put a coat of Starlight Polish "Love and Beauty Shock".

Cherry On Top on it's own. Love, love, love this shade of red. It's so pretty!
There you have my Saul nails. If you watch either show enjoy them tonight.

Here's the pretty cupcakes I made. I love the frosting and pink and purple is Sarah's favorite color combo together which is mine too :)
Here's some chocolate truffles that our friend Nancy made, they are so pretty too :)
That's all for today. Have a great rest of the weekend. Here's Mom and my sister's cat, Scoot Too, in the basket I took out to the house for him. He is such a big boy and just fits in this. He's an awesome cat, so cool and sweet. So happy they adopted him several months back :)

Trippy Valentine Hearts

Happy Hump Day!

Hello my friends. We've made it the middle of the week! I hope you are well and that you are having a good week so far. Mine is okay. Today I have the nails I had done for Valentine's Day. Casey and I don't do anything for the day, we think it's kind of a nonsense holiday but I do love hearts so there is that! I did go to a Valentine's Day party with my Mom on Saturday that her church has and I do really look forward to that each year with my Mom. I did paint a bunch of rocks as favors to set on the tables, baked some pretty cupcakes and two cakes that they gave away for a cake walk. A cake walk is where someone or someones walk around with a cake as music plays and then when the music stops whoever is sitting or standing closest to the person(s) holding a cake gets a cake. It's silly and fun! I have some pictures of the rocks, cupcakes and cakes at the end of this post.

For my Valentine's Day nails I just did some super simple stamped hearts and trippy stamps for the hearts. I kinda love how these turned out. I think they are pretty, hope you like them too!

My base is Essie "Around the Bend". I stamped with China Glaze "Red Pearl" and Bundle Monster BM-XL355 plate. The glitter is K. B. Shimmer "Candy Cane Crush" and on the rest of my nails is a coat of Ozotic "901 Sugar".

Around the Bend on it's own, love this pink. It's so pretty.
Here's the cupcakes and the cakes I made for the party. I love how they all turned out. The cupcakes were good too straight out of a box :)

Here are all the rocks I painted, think these turned out really pretty :)
That's all for today. Have a great rest of Wednesday, talk soon. I leave you with my girls Princess Pebbles and Miss Betty snuggling :)  I love when the cats chill and cuddle beside and with each other, it makes my heart happy :)

Vans Are My Preferred Kicks

Happy Sunday my loves,

Hello my friends, I hope you are doing fantastic and having a great weekend. I am. Yesterday I went to a breakfast with my mom and sister with some ladies from Mom's church and it's always good company and good food. I enjoy doing these kinds of things with my mom and she loves that I go with her. It makes her happy and that is super important to me. Today I am planning on being pretty lazy, I'll do some laundry and that is about it, lol! It's going to be a TV and reading a book kinda day!

For quite a while now I've had sneakers on my nail to do list. All the ones I see are some sort of Converse or "chuck taylor" style and while I do like those sneakers my very favorite sneakers since I was a teenager have been Vans. I love them and have around 6 pairs that I wear all the time. So for my sneakers nails I decided to some Vans Authentic and Old Skool since those are the two styles that I own. I think these turned out super super cute. I kinda love them and the "Vans" I think turned out really good too :) Hope you enjoy them too!

My base is China Glaze "Liquid Leather". I then used a nail striper in white to draw the sneakers and Vans. The glitter on my pinkies and thumbs is BaronessX "Vashta Nerata". I had just gotten this pretty glitter polish and had wanted to use it asap in a mani and these Vans ones were perfect to use it with. I think this is also the first time I have ever used black as a base for nail art too, lol.

Liquid Leather on it's own, this is a great formula black if you are looking for a good basic black polish.
There you have my sneaker nails, one more thing to cross off my nail art to do list. Have a great Sunday, talk to you next week!

I leave you with an old pic I found of King Dino from quite a while ago wearing some tulle from when I was making some tutus :) I love this and I remember that day he was playing with the tulle and having a super fun time with it :)

Punxsutawney Phil Said..........

"It's going to be an early Spring!!!!!!!"
Good morning friends, today is Groundhog Day, the super silly weather tradition that today was the 134th celebration of Groundhog Day. This is in my state of PA about 3 to 4 hours or so from where I live. It's in Punxsutawney and year round the groundhog lives in it's habitat in the town library. Tradition dictates that if Phil the groundhog sees his shadow on February 2nd then we are to have six more weeks of Winter weather and if he does not see his shadow then we are going to have an early Spring time. in the town at a place called Gobbler's Knob is where the celebration is done with singing and dancing and celebrating all things groundhog. It's a fun thing to watch on TV or stream online if you are up early. I am an early bird so I watch the festivities each year.

There really is nothing serious about the event and as they say during the festivities that there are so many serious things in the world and Groundhog Day is not one of them. I have always thought it was a cute holiday and enjoy it and one of these years I will get my butt out there to experience it live and cold, lol.

So, today of course I have some nails to celebrate. I like the way these turned out. These are a variation of ones I did a few years back. There's only so many things I can do with my nails each year for the day. I hope you like them too and here's to an early Spring, hope you are right Mr. Phil, you damn rodent! :)

My base is China Glaze "Show 'em Who's Blossom". I used a slew of other colors to create the sky, the groundhog, the sun, clouds and rain that I was too lazy to keep track of. On my pinkies and thumbs is a coat of Sally Hanson Diamond Strength "Crystal Beading" to finish this mani.

Show 'em Who's Blossom on it's own. Love this dusty springy green.
That's all for this year's Groundhog Day nails. I had fun doing these and watching the festivities. It sure is a silly silly tradition that is not serious and just is a good time.

Have a great Sunday and I'll talk to you soon. I leave you with my dear sweet cutie patootie Miss Betty, my heart, my love. She's so cute, I can't handle it :) :) I mean, just look at her!!!!

My Stash and Set Up

Happy Sunday (again) loves,

I have a  second post for today. I have been wanting to do a my post on my stash and set up for a while now for the madness that is my nail polish love. So, without further ado, here is my crazy collection of polish and all that goes with it :) I hope you enjoy seeing my madness!! I know it sure does make me happy!!

I have to have everything in my living room since I live in a one bedroom apartment and don't have anywhere else to home my massive polish collection and all that goes with it.

This is the wall by my couch on these corner walls. There's all my pinks, purples, blues, blue/greens/teals, reds and orange cremes here along with all my shimmering topcoat types.
This rack is all glitter that I use for accent nails. this one is on the wall on the other side of our chaise couch.
This is the wall across from our couch that houses my nuetral, yellows and green cremes along with more glitters for accent nails.
These racks are on my coffee table that hold my base and top coat, remover, files, felt squares, thinner and all my brushes and dotting tools. It's also holds all my white, black and gray cremes along with some silver and golds.
This sits on a bookcase against another wall and has all sorts of random stuff in it. It has some stamping polish, cleanup stuff and all sorts of stuff for art, sponges, straws, paper plates, extra tape, stampers, etc. The container with the dots and box it's sitting on is all stamping plates and stampers. On the shelf below is my remover along with some other tools (the brushes in front are my rock painting brushes, that's just the only place I have to store them, so there they go :) ) On top of the jewelry box is more stamping plates in holders. In the jewelry box is all art stuff, sponges and eyeshadow applicators. Below that on the shelf are some nail magazines and a couple books along with felt that I'll cut up for polish remover and felt already cut up in the tupperware. There's also more stamping polish in the basket container.

There you have my method of madness that is my polish world. In a perfect world I would have a polish room but oh well, since I don't, I make do.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my mad stash of polish and supplies. I'll leave you with some super plain pretty nails from a couple weeks ago when I was going to do this post but just never did, so you get nails twice today!

My base is OPI "Planks A Lot". On my ring nails is a coat of Kleancolor "Metallic White" on the rest is a coat of CND Effects "Amethyst Sparkle".

Planks A Lot on it's own.
That's all for the second time today. Talk soon! I leave you with Princess Pebbles on our stove. This is an old pic I came across, not sure when I even took it!

Out Of This World Galaxies

Happy Sunday Loves,

Hello my friends. I hope that today's post finds you well and having a good weekend. My weekend has been good. I went to work yesterday morning to clean the office. I do that once a month and it's a super easy seventy five bucks for me for 2 and half hours of work. Then I came home and did some laundry and then my sister came over last night and my two other friends, Valerie and Zach, stopped by for a bit and that was super nice since we hadn't seen them in a bit. Today I have done my nails and plan on being pretty lazy the rest of the today. Other than putting laundry away I have no other stuff planned that I need to do. So it's a TV and hanging with the kitties and Casey day :)

Today's nail are galaxy nails. It's been quite a while since I've done some galaxy nails and I am super super happy with how these turned out. I think they came out really pretty and totally do look like galaxies. Hope you like them too :) I love them!

My base is OPI "Lincoln Park After Dark". I then sponged on OPI "Funky Dunkey", Orly "Brittney Beach", Essie "Around the Bend" and OPI "Alpine Snow" to create the galaxies. I put a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of the galaxies and on my thumbs and pinkies a coat of Milani "Rainbow Prisms" to finish this pretty galaxy nail look.

Lincoln Park After Dark on it's own. This is probably one of my oldest polishes and one of my very favorite vampy shades ever. It was the perfect base for these galaxy nails I think!
In other artsy stuff here's the rocks I've painted since the last time I posted rocks in a post a month of two ago. I love painting rocks, it's so much fun and gifting them to people or hiding them around town is so much fun too :)

Here are the Thanksgiving rocks. I put these at each table at my Mom's church's Thanksgiving dinner they had. They were a hit, people loved them!

Here's some Christmas and Winter rocks. Love these all :)

This rock I gifted to my one crazy cat lady friend who works tirelessly rescuing, helping andn feeding feral cat colonies. She loved this rock and I did too.
This one I made for my sister whose favorite kitties are gingers. She totally loved this rock and so did I :)

I made this one for my Corgi friend, Tanner's, mom and gave it to her at puppy graduation, Barb was very touched that I made this with love for her. It made me happy.
When I found these rocks they screamed to be painted as dogs so made them both for my mom. The beagle since she has a beagle right now and the Lab since our family has had many Labs over the years and Labs hold a very special spot in our hearts, she loved these! I am pretty proud of how they came out too!
That's it for today. Have a great rest of the day, talk soon!
