Happy Thursday My Loves,
Hello and how are you!!! Wonderful, I hope and hope your week is going well also. Mine is okay, glad tomorrow is Friday! So, today my blog turns turns 3. It was three years ago today that I started this blog. It seems hard to believe that it's been three years already, where does the time go!!! I truly enjoy showcasing my nails on this blog and plan to for as long as I am able to. It's a great outlet for me and a wonderful way to keep all my manicures and nail art in one place. It's fun having this blog. One thing I love to do is check out my stats to see what all different countries have viewed my blog. There have been many views from many, many different countries. I really like to think that I am inspiring people the entire world over thru my nails, I sure hope so. I want to say a big huge thank you and lots of love to all my readers out there from all over the world, thank you, thank you, thank you, it means a lot to me to know that I have readers of this blog in my super teeny tiny itsy bitsy part of the interwebs.
I didn't do anything special for my blog-a-b-day this year. To be honest, I forgot what date it was till it hit me today when I was on Facebook checking my "On This Day" memories and last year's blog post came up. And, guess what??? Last year I posted a dotticure for my blog's special day also! And, now this year, you get another dotticure to celebrate. I love dotticures, they are super easy to do and are one of my favorite nail art techniques to do. Without further ado, I present to you this year's blogiversary nails :) Hope you like this super simple dotticure I did one day last week!
My base was Essie "Saved By the Belle". I used a slew of "I was too lazy to write down" polishes and a couple different sized dotting tools to create the dotticure, then a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of those. The glitter on the non-dotted nails is Essie "Jazzy Jubilant". I really enjoyed this mani, it was pretty I thought :)

Fall Is Here!
Happy Caturday Loves,
It's the weekend, yay :) Hope yours is going good. Mine has been pretty lazy so far and I'm okay with that since the last few weekends were busy for me. I did my nails this morning, chilled with Miss Betty on the couch and we watched a bunch of Lifetime movies, cuz' I am a dork, and I LOVE my cheesy ass Lifetime movies, lol. They are so dramatic if somewhat predictable.
So, today I have my first Fall nails of the year that I did this morning. I love the way these turned out, so awesome looking I think with the stamped leaves. I love them, hope you do too :)
My base here was China Glaze "Home Sweet House Music". I then used a little make up brush and dabbed the following polishes on: OPI "My Twin Mimmy", China Glaze "Salsa", OPI "Hot & Spicy" and OPI "Suzi-The First Lady of Nails". I then stamped using Kleancolor "Metallic Brown" with Uber Chic "2-02" and Creative Shop "24" plates. I then put a coat of China Glaze "Golden Enchantment" on top of all the stamped nails. The glitter on my thumb and pinkies is Wet 'n Wild "Rebel Without A Claus" to finish this mani.
I love Fall, just hate the impending doom of Winter which of course comes after, ugh! I'm looking forward to doing a bunch of different Fall themed nails this year :)
Haven't done a feel good for a bit, so here's one for today:
"If you can dream it, do it."
Walt Disney said this one and it's a really one!!!
Have a great rest of the weekend. I'll chat at you soon! I leave you with my heart, my love, cutie patootie Miss Betty. This little cat, she's my heart and so darn cute, some days I just can't take that level of cute :) :) :) I love her so much!!! And, look at that tongue, she's so cute when she sleeps and that little tongue sticks out :)

Dog Rescue Picnic
Happy Wednesday Loves,
Just a quick short post today. This past Saturday my Mom and I went to a picnic that the dog rescue she adopted her chocolate lab, Gracie, from. They do this every year and have people that have adopted dogs from them in the past bring them. It was a lot of fun and really nice to meet so many people and dogs and I had a really good time with my Mom.
So, of course I did some doggy nails for the day. I did some simple and easy stamping. I like them.
My base here is Essie "Baguette Me Not". I stamped using Essie "Girly Grunge" with Uber Chic "Furry Friends", Apipila "L15" and Bundle Monster "BM-S160" plates. I then put a coat of a "Melly Mix" on top of all nails to finish.
I wanted to get a pic of Mom, Gracie and me at the picnic, but then somehow forgot to get one, so, here's some pics of Gracie instead from one day at Mom's when I was getting pics of her for Mom to get her AKC breed type title/papers or something, lol. Gracie is a really good dog, so perfect for Mom. She's also a certified therapy dog and Mom takes her on several visits to old people homes every week. Mom's had the last 6 dogs in their life, Gracie included, all certified therapy dogs. I love that she does this with her dogs and makes a difference thru her visits with the dogs in peoples' lives and the dogs enjoy it too.
Have a great rest of the night and I'll talk to you next when I get my first Fall nails posted, hopefully Friday night :)

Talk Like a Pirate.......Arrrrrrrrrrrrr.....
Happy Talk Like A Pirate Day, Mateys!!!!
Ahoy mateys, today is the official holiday of pirate talk! Here's a brief history of what this day is that I copy/pasted from a site I found:
"One day in 1995, two Oregon natives faced off in a particularly boisterous game of racquetball. For reasons that neither John Baur nor Mark Summers can precisely recall, they began trading insults and encouragements in the lingo, tone and syntax of stereotypical pirates. “Arrr!” one exclaimed. “That be a fine cannonade!” the other hollered. Lapsing into swashbuckler slang proved so addictive that the two friends decided a new holiday should be devoted to the activity.
For the next seven years, the men celebrated Talk Like a Pirate Day as something of an inside joke, choosing the birthday of Summers’ ex-wife as the obvious date for its observance. But in 2002, they shared their idea with the syndicated humor writer David Barry, who promoted it in a tongue-in-cheek column that described Baur and Summers as “visionary individuals.” The holiday went viral, and now landlubbers across the globe spend September 19 shouting “Ahoy!” to their mateys, pouring noggins of rum and denouncing lily-livered scallywags."

I've always been a fan of pirate stuff, whether it was movies, books, themes for parties, etc., so, I was pretty excited when this day actually became a thing. It's fun to talk like pirates any day and now there's an "official" day to do it which makes it extra fun to do and to celebrate :)
So, in honor of today I present to ye' me pirate nails to enjoy. I am so happy with how these turned out, they are so fun and so dang cute I think :) Hope you like them too!
My base here was Orly "Frisky". I used nail art brushes, dotting tools and a black striper to draw the pirates and the "arrr...". The polishes I used were Sinful Colors "Snow Me White", Loreal "Nude", Sinful Colors "Endless Blue" and China Glaze "Seas the Day". The glitter on my pinky nails is Sally Hansen X-treme Wear "Fruit-la-la" and the glitter on my index nails is Hard Candy "Pop Star".
And, there ye have me pirate nails.....arrrrrrrr......... That's it fer today, now where's da' rum!!!!!
Have a great rest of the night and I'll talk to you soon!
I leave you with a picture of Mr. Kitty last Winter snuggled under the blankets when he was cold one day :) Isn't he so cute :)

Stamper Smooshies
Hello and Happy Hump Day My Loves,
I hope you are well and having a good Wednesday. Monday was the Labor Day holiday in the USA so I had a three day weekend, yay :)
My weekend was pretty uneventful. Saturday it rained heavy all day, I cleaned. Sunday Casey and I were going to go to his family reunion but didn't as he was sick with some tummy thing. Then yesterday I went out to my Mom's in the morning to go thru some of Dad's stuff getting it ready to take to a flea market this coming weekend then went to a picnic with Casey's family. I also hung out with the kitties a lot this past weekend, watched some movies and some of The Walking Dead marathon that was on AMC the last couple of days. So, overall a pretty relaxing chill holiday weekend.
I didn't do any special nails for the holiday so tonight you have some smooshy nails I did a while back that I kinda totally forgot about it. Seeing them here now again, I remembered how much I loved these and the way they turned out. I love the mix of black in with the bright colors, it's a nice contrast me thinks :) Hope you like them too :)
My base here was Essie "DJ Play That Song". I then put drops of the following polishes on a stamper and then smooshed the colors together on the smooshed nails: Orly "Key Lime Twist", Sinful Colors "Black On Black", China Glaze "Sun of A Peach" and China Glaze "All Glammed Up". The glitter on my middle nails is Alchemy Lacquers "Fireworks". I put a coat of Zoya "Sparkle Gloss" on my pinky and thumb nails to finish. I really enjoy smooshy nails, they turn out so cool looking and are pretty easy to do too although clean up can suck a bit, lol!
That's it for the nails for today. Have a good rest of the night and if you are in the path of Hurricane Irma this week, please, please be safe and I'll be thinking of those affected during this time. It's so sad all the devastation that Harvey left behind in Texas. My heart goes out to all those people and animals there.
I haven't put a feel good on the blog in a bit either, so, for today you get:
"I love the smell of possibility in the morning."
That is a good one! I leave you with my girls, Miss Betty and Princess Pebbles. Aren't they so sweet!!

DJ, Play That Song on it's own. A really pretty color, but one of the crappiest, patchiest formulas ever, yuck! |
