Daisy, Daisy, Daisies

Happy Monday Loves,

I am off work today since it's the Memorial Day holiday in America.  Remembrance today to all those who have served in our military to keep us all safe here in the USA.  I do love these three day weekends.  Saturday Casey, myself and two of our friends went to my Mom's and did a ton of outside work out there.  We put hay away, mowed, weed whacked and burnt down an old dilapidated shed.  We were out there all day and let me tell you I was so tired and sore after we got done. Our friends, Danielle and Rich, who helped us at Mom's also came over for dinner that night and it was nice hanging out with them.  Yesterday was the last day I had some cats to take care of after watching them for a week.  I did a bit of cleaning also yesterday.  Today I did my nails and am pretty much being lazy now until we go to Casey's parent's later on for a cookout.

I did some daisies today on my nails.  I think these came out super cute even if a couple do kinda look more like carnations than daises, lol.  Hope you like them too :)

The light blue is China Glaze "Water-falling In Love" and the darker blue is China Glaze "Flyin' High" as my bases.  I used a nail art brush and a dotting tool with OPI "Alpine Snow", China Glaze "Emerald Bae" and China Glaze "Daisy Know My Name?" for the flowers. The glitter is China Glaze "Make A Spectacle" on the others.

Water-falling In Love and Flyin' High on their own.
That's it for the nails for today!  Here's a really good feel good for the day:

"Stand tall - be proud of you!"

Love this one!!!!!!

Have a great day, I'll talk to you soon!  I leave you with today, not, gasp, kitties, but rabbits.  These are the retired female breeding rabbits Casey has that are now living their lives out since he no longer breeds them.  They have it good and are pretty happy.  We also have his old breeding male but he was in his cage when these were taken since he can't be with the girls any longer, lol :) Here are the girls enjoying cabbage leaves, they are really cute little bunnies :) They don't have names, they are just "the girls".

Polish & Purrs,

Melly

Have you loved your cuticles today?
