Black Cat Love For Black Cat Appreciation Day

Hello loves,

Today's my favorite holiday, YAY!!!! Today is Black Cat Appreciation Day!  This was started by a couple on Facebook as an awareness event to spread awareness of how black cats are stigmatized and dispel the strange myths about black cats.  I have always since I was a young girl been drawn to solid black cats.  I always just loved them. I've had a few black cats that have since gone to Rainbow Bridge and three currently in my life.  I love all kitties, but my heart and soul is with those solid black beauties. They are the best and in honor of their day I, but of course, have some nails to honor them.  If you've been thinking of adopting a cat or maybe just want to add another friend to your cat family already, please consider adopting a black one, they are the least likely to be adopted in shelters. You won't be sorry :) Black Cats, I LOVE Black Cats!!!!!!
Here's my current crew, Princess Pebbles, Dino and Miss Betty.  I love this pic of the three together.  It makes my heart so happy!
A day in the life of Melly :) I love this, this is pure heaven for me :) That's Miss Betty, Dino and Pebbles again.

Onto the nails now. I did these last night and did super simple stamping. I haven't been feeling 100% this past week with allergies from the humidity and all the rain we've been getting. It's been rough, ugh.

My base is Essie "Go Ginza".  I stamped using Funky Fingers "Dark Knight" with Moyra "51 Friends" and Chez Delaney "Chats & Chiens 001" plates.  I put a coat of a Melly Mix on the others to finish.

Go Ginza on it's own.  I love light purples like this, some of my faves :)
Here's another day in the life of Melly.  Pure heaven again :) Betty, Dino and Pebbles.
Here's Miss Betty, I love them all, but, she is my heart, she's my Momma's girl! Look how cute she is!
Dino, he's the king! Isn't he so handsome?
Princess Pebbles, she's so pretty and such a good girl! She's the princess!
Here's Bam Bam, he's waiting at Rainbow Bridge.  He was a great kitty and a really big cat!  I miss him.
Here's Fred and Barney. They were brothers and my first two I adopted.  Barney was my boy version of Miss Betty.  He was my Momma's boy.  Fred was just hilariously quirky and weird, such a cool cat. I miss them both so much.  They are waiting at the Bridge with Bammy.
Here's Sparky. He's out at my Mom and sister's. My Dad found him in a shed starving and with a hurt foot.  He's part of the family and he's an old man. He's around 15 or so now. He's really sweet. I love him!
Here's Firecracker. She was a barn cat kitten from Mom and Tina's last year.  She's a pretty feral girl living in the house.  She's Mom's cat and can't hardly touch her, ugh. She will come around, she's so tiny and cute and she does have a strong curiosity about me.
Here is Mr. Stokely. This is our friends Nick and Leah's kitty.  He's my favorite fur nephew. We take care of him when they go away and he is such a buddy and amazingly awesome sweet cat.  I love him!
That's all for this most special day today!  Have a great day and remember to appreciate those black cats today and every day!!!!

I'll talk to you on Sunday when I post my Sharknado 6 nails.  I can't wait, ha ha!

Polish & Purrs,

Melly

Have you loved your cuticles today?
