Pink Flamingo Nails

Happy Sunday Love Bugs,

Hello friends, hope you are all having a good weekend.  I am.  Yesterday I cleaned all morning, then Casey and I went to my niece, Megan's, graduation party at my brother's and that was fun.  We had a nice time.  But, boy, these kids getting older sure does make me feel so old, lol.  Megan is a really good kid and will be going to school come Fall for nursing.  She'll be a good nurse with her personality for sure.

Today I have some pink flamingo nails I did.  My base for these was OPI "Sailing & Nail-ing".  I used a nail art brush and OPI "Shorts Story", China Glaze "Sping In My Step" along with a white and black nail art stripers and dotting tool to do the flamingos.  Then I put a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of those nails.  The white glitter is one I mixed together from a couple different polishes and I put a coat of another "Melly Mix holo" I made on my ring and index nails.  I really love the way these turned out, so summery too.  They were super fun to do and to wear, yay for pink flamingos, they are such cute birds :)  Hope you like them too :)

Sailing & Nail-ing on it's own, another lovely shade of light blue with a not too bad formula. This is from OPI's Summer collection out now in stores.

That's it for today folks.  I've been having a pretty lazy day today chilling and watching the Season 4 Walking Dead marathon on AMC today and right now the "Still" episode is on and this one is one of my favorites, I do indeed love me some Daryl Dixon, yum....yum....  :)

I'll talk to you all soon.  Here's Dino, Mr. Kitty and Gypsy, spoiled kittie.

Tie Dye Nails :)

It's Monday!!!!!

Hope that your Monday is going okay.  Mine is, especially for a Monday, sometimes Mondays are really rough at work, but, today was pretty good, phones weren't really busy and it wasn't crazy like some can be, which is good, because we lost one employee that quit last week and one is on vacation this week, so, it may get a bit crazy around here this week.  I'm sure by the end of this work week I'll be so ready for the weekend!

I've been trying to do Summer nails the last few manis and loving doing them. I did the tie dye nails today and also some pink flamingos and strawberries that will both be coming up in future posts.

I started with a base of Essie "French Affair", then used a nail art brush dipped into some polish on a paper plate and then dabbed the polish onto my tie dyed nails using Essie "Strut Your Stuff", Jesse's Girl "Baby Cakes", Broadway Nails "Sour Apple", Orly "Melt Your Popsicle" and Orly "Glowstick", then did one coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of those.  My glitter accent is China Glaze "Point Me To The Party" and then one coat of Sally Hansen Satin Glam "Crystalline" on my thumb and pinky.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these tie dyed nails, they were really fun to do and I love the way they came out.  I can't wait to do some more tie dye nails for sure :)

French Affair on it's lonesome, I love this pink.
Here's some more pics from our July 4th weekend that I didn't post yet.  These are some from when we went to see the fireworks in Galeton, PA, which has really awesome fireworks for the 4th, a couple of the awesome sunset I got at Casey's family's cabin in Potter County, my flea market finds, a bowl for doing mani bombs for my hands and nails and some nail polish, who'd a thunk it, I found nail polish up in Potter County too.  I was pretty excited and the ones I got I got for the purpose of stamping and the ones I got did stamp pretty well when I tried them out except for a few which were too sheer for stamping, but, overall my polish purchase at the flea market was a good one :) I loved going to Potter County with my Dad when we went over the years and look forward to many more memories being made now with Casey up there.  We are going again the end of July to the bus, my Dad's camp up there.  You can read about the bus in my 4th of July nails post and see pics of the bus where we stay in that one.  Here's the link to that post :)

Some pretty fireworks pics I too.  Fireworks, sparkly and pretty, what's not to ouhhhhhh.........and........ahhhhhhh.......over :) So pretty :)

Here's the sunset from Casey's family's cabin, isn't this so darn pretty and it had so much pink in it too.  Potter County is so pretty and it's part of why my Dad loved it so much too :)

The fire Saturday night at the bus (the first three pics) and then Sunday at the cabin (the last two), fire is so pretty and so warm and just so awesome :)  I love fire :)

  1.

The little bee friend that landed and chilled on my toe for quite a while in the afternoon before the fireworks.  He was cool, he just totally chilled :)
My flea market finds, my new mani bomb bowl and my new polishes. I did put a couple on the purge pile tho' that didn't stamp good.

And, there you have my happy tie dye nails, they were so much fun and I can't wait to do my next round of tie dye nails, yay :)  Thanks for stopping by and I leave you with my baby bear, Miss Betty, and my handsome man, Dino :)  Have a great rest of the night :)

Cats On Caturday!

Happy Caturday Ya'll,

Hope you are all having a great weekend so far.  I am.  Today Casey and I were out at my Mom's. She had a yard sale and did sell some of Dad's stuff and thangs, but, there's still so much more stuff and thangs of his out there yet.  Dad had so much stuff, he wasn't a hoarder, but, damn, did he have a lot of stuff, lol.  I also brushed my horse really good, he thoroughly enjoyed that and I enjoyed brushing him too :)  I do love spending time with Dusty, he's a really good boy and a pleasure to be around.  He's my buddy :)

Today I have some stamped cat nails I did a few weeks back.  I love cats, of course, and am so happy I have several stamping plates with cats or pet themed.  Makes it nice for my Caturday cat nail posts, yay :) Enjoy :)

I did a base of Orly "Put The Top Down", then stamped using a Kleancolor no name purple metallic with Uber Chic Furry Friends plate and Vapid Laquer VL 027 plate, then did a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of the stamped nails and a coat of a "Melly Mix" on the others.

Put The Top Down on it's own.  This is a really great neon pink and so pretty.  Neons like this I love.
That's it for today, have a great rest of Caturday and I'll talk to you all soon :) Here's Miss Betty and her big belly sleeping one day.  This little cat, I love her to pieces, I just love her so much, she's my baby girl :)

It's Nails!

Happy Thursday Loves,

Hope your week is going well.  Mine is, uneventful, and tomorrow is Friday, yay :)

I am working on uploading other nail pics tonight, but, wanted to get this post posted before I do that.  Here are some manis I have done over the last month or so.  Hope you enjoy them :)

My base here is Finger Paints "Pop Art Purple" with some flower nail decals and a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" over the decaled nails, the glitter accent is Morgan Taylor "Escar-Go To France" and a coat of Finger Paints "Holographic Top Coat" on my pinky and thumb nails.  I love this glitter and this holo top coat and it's really nice to see some mainstream brands starting to come out with linear holo top coats, it's about time :)  All the other holo top coats I have were all purchased from indie polish makers.

Pop Art Purple on it's own.  This is a really pretty and bright neon-ish color.  I love it.

My base here was China Glaze "Kiwi Cool-Ada" with the glitter accent of Bitzy "Funky Melon" and Indigo Bananas "SF35 Holo Top Coat" on the rest. I was feeling lazy the day I did these so it was a fast mani I did with just glitter, lol :)

Kiwi Cool-Ada by itself

The base here is Essie "Meet the Parents", then I dry brushed using Loreal "Royalty Reinvented", Sally Hansen Salon Manicure "Resurrection", Sally Hansen Salon Manicure "Ballet Rouges" and China Glaze "Something Sweet" with a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top.  My glitter is an unknown unnamed beauty supply glitter.  I then did a coat of Fair Maiden "Glory of the Galaxy" on my thumb and pinky nails.

Meet The Parents on it's own.  I love light blues like this, they are so pretty.
That's it for now.  I may just post again later on tonight, but, if not, then tomorrow I will.  I leave you with Miss Betty, my heart, my heart, my heart, kitty.  I love her so much, she's so sweet and loveable and cuddly and snuggly, my heart, she is :)
