Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween Loves,

It's Halloween!  I love Halloween, it's such a fun holiday I think!  I love watching all the scary movies, love the dressing up, love the candy, love the black cats, obviously, lol, and so much more about the holiday, it's just fun!  Hope you are having a good one today!

So, for my Halloween Day nails I did some fun stamped angry trees and a haunted house.  I dig the way these turned out, so fun and so cute I think.  I love the angry trees too much, they are great! Hope you enjoy them too :)

Here my base was OPI "Sapphine In the Snow".  I sponged on Essie "As If!" on the nails to be stamped to create a night-ish looking sky, then I stamped using Essie "No Place Like Chrome" with Born Pretty BP-L057, Born Pretty BPX-L007 and Winstonia Haunted House plates.  The glitter is Sinful Colors "If You've Got It, Haunt It".

Sapphire In the Snow on it's own.
There you have my Halloween nails.  Have a great rest of the night. I'm going to watch a scary movie on two, love SyFy and AMC's scary movies every year, watch a lot of them thru the month.

I leave you with Miss Betty on one of the first chilly evenings last week. Isn't she just the cutest!!! I love her so much!!! Talk to you all soon, soon!

Super Scary Stamped Spiders!

Happy Friday Loves,

Just a quick post today. I'm feeling a bit under the weather today, feel like a cold is coming on, ugh, so taking it easy this weekend until Sunday when I am going to a church event with my Mom and painting faces and some nails too :)

Today I have some spiders and webs that did last night.  These were super quick and super simple to do.  I do love the full nail images, they are so much easier to stamp on the nails than the individual image!

My base is China Glaze "Orange Knockout".  I stamped Konad Black with Lina Spookalicious! 01 and Born Pretty BP-L057 plates.  The glitter i China Glaze "Boundary of Memory".

Orange Knockout on it's own. I've had this one for a long time, think it may have been one of my first neon oranges I ever bought. It is bright!
That's it for today.  I'm going to get under a blanket and cuddle with the kitties the rest of the night now since I am not feeling 100%.

Have a great rest of the night.  Here's Mr. Dino snuggling under a blanket on a chilly night, such spoiled kitties and I would not have it any other way.

I Am NEGAN!!!! If Daryl Dies We Riot

Happy Dead Day All,

It's here, it's finally here, The Walking Dead season premiere day!  I'm so excited!  I've missed it the last many months.  Well, sorta, my sister and I have been having a once a week Walking Dead marathon and I've watched the marathons here and there on AMC so I have had my fix, but I need new episodes now, lol :)

My sister, Tina, is here for our TWD premiere party of three night .  I have been watching the marathon off and on all weekend and today also.

I have lots of favorite characters on the show, however, Mr. Daryl Dixon is my very favorite of them all 'cuz, well, Norman Reedus, hubba, hubba :) :)  So, in honor of Daryl I decided to some Daryl focused nails for the premiere tonight.

Without further ado, I present to you my Daryl Dixon nails. Hope  you likey, I sure do!! I am so happy with these and love them, love them, love them :)

I started with a base of Orly "Prelude To A Kiss", then dry brushed on Essie "Fierce No Fear" and Essie "Cocoa Karma". I then stamped using Funky Fingers "Dark Knight" with Uber Chic "Zombie Love 1" and "Zombie Love 2" plates.

My nails dry brushed before stamping.

Prelude To A Kiss on it's own, a streaky mess, going into the purge pile.
There you have the nails.  Now, on to some fun kitty pics.  My sister's kitten she named Negan so we had to make him a little Negan costume.  The bat I made using some hemp and a catnip cigar toy, his jacket and scarf and just simply pieces of scrap material.  I love the little Lucille, I think it turned out great! He is a therapy cat that my sister takes to homes for the older people to visit with so he's really good with wearing stuff like this.  I love these pics so much, isn't he a pretty little guy?  He also gets neutered this Tuesday, so yay to that :)

Here's Negan being Negan :)

Here's my sister, Tina, and I all ready for tonight with our Walking Dead shirts :)

That's it for today.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend and enjoy the premiere tonight if you are going to be watching. Talk soon and HAPPY DEAD DAY, YAY :)

Floating Ghosts

Happy Tuesday Loves,

Hope you are having a good week so far.  Mine is okay.  Sunday night was rough.  My sister's old horse, Dream, was down and couldn't get up so Casey and I went out there and for two hours worked to get him back up.  He did finally after we had the vet come out to give him some pain medicine.  He's 29, has arthritis and sometimes when he lays down to roll he can't get his legs under him to get back up. It's sad seeing the old guy go thru this, it hurts your heart.  He was trying so hard too, was so exhausted from fighting to get up, but with the help of myself, Casey and our neighbor guy out there we were able to get him up and he's been fine since.  It's so hard seeing the animals get old and having problems.  He's been okay and himself since so here's to hoping he doesn't have any more issues for a while, that poor old horse.  Casey and I were so hurty and sore tho' on Monday all day, let me tell you.  Today is not so bad tho' at least.

Since we were out at the barn until around 11 PM we didn't get to watch Fear the Walking Dead until last night and it was pretty good. But, now that Fear is over, bring on The Walking Dead this weekend, yay!  I can't wait.

Today I have my first Halloween nails of the season.  I did these super scary floating ghost nails on Sunday.  I think are so cute, hope you likey them too :)

I started with a base of China Glaze "Dawn of A New Reign".  I used a white nail striper to draw the ghosts, then a dotting tool with Sinful Colors "Black On Black" to do the eyes and mouths.  I put a coat of China Glaze "Let Your Twilight Sparkle" on my pinky and index nails to finish.

Dawn of A New Reign on it's own.  It's more purple in real life.  My camera has a hard time with purples.
There you have my first scary nails for this year.  I've got more in mind that I'll be doing over the next couple of weeks so be on the lookout for them to coming up :)

Here's a feel good for the day also:

"Be absolutely crazy, silly, and wild - all the best people are."

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one so much!

Talk to you soon, here's Miss Betty, Buster and Mister Kitty :) I love when the kitties all lay together like this, it makes my heart happy!

Potter County, PA Weekend At The Bus

Happy Sunday My Love Bugs,

I hope today finds you well and that you are having a good weekend.  I've been having a very low key lazy weekend this weekend and it's been nice.  Today I plan on just chilling, taking a bath and watching some of the Fear the Walking Dead marathon until the season finale tonight. I like Fear but definitely not as invested in this show as I am The Walking Dead which, yay, the season premiere of that is next Sunday night and I cannot wait.  So, I will for sure have some TWD nails next Sunday for you :)

Last weekend Casey and I went up to Potter County, PA camping at the bus, our family's camp up there that was my Dad's pride and joy.  We repainted the bus and the outhouse and they both for sure needed it. I have some pics after my nails from our trip up.  As usual it was an awesome time.  I love it up there and am so happy that I can keep my Dad's pride and love for the bus and Potter County going.

So, of course I did some nails for the weekend. I really like the way these turned out even if my trees did turn out a bit leaning due to my not stamping gently enough, lol. Oh well, we'll just say it was windy the day these nails got done, ha, ha :) I love the little tiny deer on them too! Hope you likey :)

My base here was Color Club "Til The Record Stops". I then sponged on OPI "Don't Mess With OPI" and OPI "What's With The Cattitude" using an eye shadow applicator.  I then stamped using Kleancolor "Metallic Brown" and Bundle Monster BM-S178 plate. The glitter is Orly "Mermaid Tale" on my thumb and pinky to finish.

Til the Record Stops on it's own.  This was perfect for the base for these nails I thought.
Here are some pics from the bus trip last weekend. Enjoy :)

Before painting:

After painting, my Daddy would be so happy it got a new paint job on it :) :

The outhouse got painted too, didn't get a pic of it before, but it was a chipped up off white color previously.

Here's the view from camp, this is one of our neighbor's cabins.

Pretty Fall colors coming in:

Two little sad abandoned cabins on the road in to our camp area:

The elk cows we saw on the way up:

It was so cool seeing those two elk.  Casey or I had never seen elk in person before so that made it super cool to see :)

That's it for today.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.  I'll talk to you in a day or so when I post my first Halloween nails of the season which are some really super frightening ghosts :)

No kitty pic today since you got all of these :) Talk soon!

Melly
