Melly's Musings Is 7!!!

Happy Wednesday Loves, 

Yesterday this blog turned seven!!! Hard to believe I've been doing this for seven years now. I will continue to post my nails on this blog as I like to have all my nails in one place and not all over on Facebook or Instagram. I also still have views daily so I have no reason to stop posting here. Even if I had no views I'd still post to, again, have all my manis in one place.

I chose to do nail polish themed nails this year because that is the subject of this blog and because Nail Polish Is Life and I Love Nail Polish 💅 ❤

My base is Wildflower Lacquer Scarlet. I put one coat of Polish Me Silly Glow Girl on top of my index, middle and ring nails. I stamped using Uber Chic Nail Polish Is Life plate with all Maniology and Clear Jelly Stamper stamping polishes.

Out of this World Horse Show Fun

Happy Monday loves, 

Yesterday I was at a horse show that I helped at. It was a fun year end show with fun timed and elimination events plus a costume class. This year's theme was galaxy/universe/spacey. It was a fun theme and fun to see the costumes people come up with. I have some pics at the end of this post.

I of course did some fun spacey nails. I am so pleased with how these turned out. I love them, hope you do too 😊

My bases are ILNP Party Bus (thumb & pinky) and ILNP Cityscape (index, middle & ring). I stamped using Born Pretty BP-A09 Deep Cosmos and MdU Space 1 plates with Maniologh Bam White! stamping Polish and several different holo polishes. I added K.B. Shimmer Love At Frost Sight magnetic polish on top of the Party Bus nails to complete this spacey look.

Here are the show grounds first thing in the morning when I first got there. It was so pretty and so peaceful. It was also a beautiful weather day. It was so nice all day long and such a pretty day!

Here are the fun entries in the costume class. It was so good!

Happy Fall Ya'll, Yay!!!

Happy Fall, Yay, Yay, Yay!!!!

Hello my loves. Quick post today. I had an ick day at work so I don't feel like saying much. Today is the first day of Fall which makes me so happy. I'm so ready for cooler temperatures and low humidity. Today is rainy but not hot so I will take it. 

I did some trees and leaves for today's nails. I like these. Still getting the hang of mixing colors on an image so I didn't quite blend them the way I wanted. Oh well, next time will be better!

My bases are Color Club Kismet (thumb, middle & pinkies) and P.O.P. Polish Shovel It (index & ring). I stamped using Lantern & Wren Finally Fall and Lina 4 Seasons Autumn 02 plates with Maniology, Twinkled T and Hit the Bottle stamping polishes.

Arrrrrr...Me Mateys, Talk Like Zee Pirate Today

Happy Sunday Arrrrr....Garrrrr.....Yarrrrr.....

Hello me friends. I hope ye is well today. Today is Talk Like a Pirate Day. I think this is a silly fun day and always enjoy doing pirate nails and talking like a pirate. I am going to a horse show today so I will definitely be talking like a pirate off and on today, ha ha!!

Onto the nails. I absolutely love these and think they turned out so cute. These pirates ☠ are so funny!

My bases are Cupcake Polish Cloudburst (pinkies, middle & thumbs) and Fancy Gloss Shimmering Skies (index & ring). I stamped using Born Pretty BP-200 and Mundo de Unas MDU Pirates plates with Maniology and Twinkled T stamping polishes.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Fall!

Happy Wednesday Loves, 

Hello friends, I hope you are well and that life if good. It is okay my way. I feel like I haven't posted in forever but it has only been a little over a week! It is hot and sticky here yet again. I am so tired of Summer weather. This year has been so hot and muggy and I am so ready for Fall and cooler weather. 

So, without further ado, I give you my first Fall themed nails of the year. I chose acorns and this olive green to begin the season's nails. I think these are so cute. Hope you this so too :) 

My bases are Enchanted Polish The Rainbow Connection (thumb, index & pinkies) and Enchanted Polish Buddy (middle & ring). I stamped using Lina 4 Seasons Autumn 01 and 02 plates with all Maniology stamping polishes.

That's all for today. Have a great day, talk soon. I leave you with my handsome sweet old man King Dino. He's about 14 now and is starting to drop some weight and have some other old kitty issues. It's hard seeing him age. He is such a good boy and I love him so!

Camp Weekend

Hello my friends, 

I hope you are well and life is good. It is my way. Casey and I were at our family camp this weekend. The weather was amazing and we had a great weekend. We saw elk on the road up to camp and it was awesome. Only recently have elk been migrating to this area so seeing them was really great!!!

We did not do much, mostly hung out at camp and Casey prepped the bus for a new paint job in a couple weeks when he goes back to paint. The bus is a 1939 school bus converted to a camp. It is great and I love it dearly. I have some pics after my nails below of our weekend.

For my nails for the weekend I did some layered tree stamping with deer and bear. I am so pleased with how these came out. I love these ❤

My base is Colores de Carol Peaceful. I put one coat of Holo Taco Galactic Unicorn Skin on the nails to stamp. I used ZZ Forest 1, Lantern & Wren Layers of Nature, Nicole Diary 153 and Clear Jelly Stamper CJS-67 plates with all Maniology stamping polishes.

Here are my Dad's ashes and some of one of his best buddies who spent a lot of time at camp with him.
