Holy Huntin' Holiday Nails!

Happy Monday!!!

It's Monday, uh....and here in the state of Pennsylvania it's also the Holy Huntin' Holiday as I call it or opening day of deer rifle season and if you are familiar at all with PA, then you would know that huntin' (please note that there is NO "g" at the end of huntin' either, ever) season is a really big deal here, so big in fact that schools are closed today too and it's been that way ever since I was a kid in school and continues to be today. I grew up in a huntin' family myself, but, I have never hunted, however I do fully support anyone that does hunt and does so responsibly and also eats the meat from the game they kill.  If you simply kill for sport you suck a thousand times over and I have no respect for you.  Thankfully all the hunters I know eat the deer they kill and I eat deer too even tho' I don't kill them myself, deer meat is pretty tasty.  My Dad always went, but, sadly, now his health issues keep him from going and that makes me sad for him, so, once again, this year these nails are for my Dad and they are also for my boyfriend, Casey, who is also out there being a mighty hunter today.

For these nails I started with a base of Sally Hansen Salon Manicure "Coral Fever", then stamped the deer and guns with Milani "Enchanting" and Revlon Perfumerie "Chocolate Truffle" and images from Winstonia's "Hunter's Life" stamping plate and Born Pretty Store's plate "L011".  I sponged the camo nail using Sally Hansen Extreme Wear "Green Thumb", Maybelline Color Show "Better In Buff" and Rimmel Salon Pro "Beige Bare", then put one coat of Revlon "Pink Glaze on top of all my nails.  I love these nails so much and am happy with my stamping placement on this mani, it's getting better, yay.  I love these, hope you do too :)

Here's my deer nail and a deer lighter of Casey's.  This was a fun prop to use for these.
Born Pretty Plate, I used the deer in the upper left hand corner.
Winstonia plate, I love this plate and will for sure be using this one again fishin' season :)
Coral Fever on it's own.
That's it for now, have a great Monday all and I'll talk to you soon and if you are in the woods today huntin', good luck and be safe my mighty hunter friends.

I leave you with, but, of course, kitties :)
My black beauties all in one spot, Dino, Pebbles and Betty.  I love Betty stretching in this one, she's so stinking cute :)

Happy Holy Huntin' Holiday!!!!!!!!

Random Abstract Lines & My Turkey Day Splatter

Hi again my loves!!!!

Oh Em Golly, holy shit, Walking Dead Mid-Season Finale, so good, but, dammit, now we have to wait a few more months till Mid-Season Premiere, dammit!!!!!  It was so good, but, anywhos, figured that since I have to wait another hour until Talking Dead comes on tonight since they are showing that Into the Badlands show before TD that I might as well get caught up with some blog posts, yay :)  Here's two manis I did recently, including my Thanksgiving splatter.

I started with a base here of China Glaze "Kinetic Candy", then I used a nail art brush to paint the lines on my nails for the different abstract lines, the polishes I used were Fresh Paint "Glastonberry", OPI "Pink Friday", Broadway Nails "Sour Apple", China Glaze "Daisy Know My Name?", LA Girl "Vinyl Record", Orly "Blue Collar" and China Glaze "Orange Knockout".  I then put one coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on my accent nails and one coat of OPI "Can't You Sea?" on the rest.  I like the way these came out, I think they look pretty cool :)

Kinetic Candy on it's own.
Here were my splatter nails I did for Thanksgiving that I meant to post on T-day, but, didn't get the chance, so, here they are now :)  I used a base of Orly "First Kiss", which I did not take a pic ot it's own and splattered with OPI "Need Sunglasses?", China Glaze "Home Sweet House Music", China Glaze "Aztec Orange" and China Glaze "Aztec Orange", then put one coat of China Glaze "Golden Enchantment on them all and was done.  I love the way these came out.  I love splatters, they are really easy and fun to do too :)

And, that is those nails :)  I am going to do a mani bomb still tonight and my just even get one more post up tonight, we shall see :)

Walking Dead Mid-Season Finale Nails

 Happy Walking Dead Day Friends!!!!

Hope you all have had a wonderful last couple of weeks, weekend and Thanksgiving too if you celebrate T-day.  I had a nice and relaxed Turkey Day.  In the morning Casey and I went out to my parents and hung out with them for a while and took care of the horses, then we went to Casey's brother's for dinner.  It was fun.  I did do some splatter nails for the holiday that I will post later on today, but, first things first....my Walking Dead Mid-Season Finale stamped nails.  This season of WD has been so, so, so good so far and I am excited yet bummed too that tonight is the last night for Walking Dead and Talking Dead for a couple months, sniffle, sniffle. It's going to be a really good finale tonight I think, yay and Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon, yum) is on Talking Dead so there is that and I do indeed love me some dirty Daryl Dixon, he's so 'effin hawt!!!!

I used a base of Sally Hansen Salon Manicure "Barricuda" and stamped the images with Orly "Indie", then put a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on the stamped nails and one coat of Sally Hansen Salon Manicure "Tulle Kit" on the unstamped nails.  The one zombie head didn't transfer to the stamper on my left ring finger and I had thought about redoing it, then thought, "No, this is perfect cuz' Daryl, on my middle finger, just shot his head off :) I used the Uberchic "Zombie Love" stamping plate for this mani. I love this plate so much and love even more that it has Walking Dead images on it, yay :)  Hope you like them, I do and I am getting a bit better at stamping and practice makes perfect and I plan on doing so much more stamping in the future too, it's fun :)
Yummy Daryl on my middle finger and the headless zombie he just shot :)

Abraham on my middle finger....MOTHER DICK!! MOTHER DICK!!
Rick Grimes
Here's the plate I used, aren't all these zombie images so freaking cool?
Barricuda on it's own.
That's it for now.  I'll talk to you all a little bit later on when I post some more nails and blog posts that I need to get caught up with.  Here's two of my black beauties living and loving life :)

Post Post Halloween Party Stamped Nails

It's Monday...

Hello my friends, hope you all had an okay Monday, mine was pretty good considering it was Monday, lol.  I was/am a bit tired today since I stayed up until midnight last night to watch Talking Dead which was on an hour later than normal due to a new AMC series, Into The Badlands, premiering, so, it put me up later than usual on Sunday night, but, oh well, I need my Talking Dead and last night was a good Walking Dead episode, had a lot of dirty Daryl Dixon in this one and I sure do love me some Daryl, yum!!!!! There's only 2 more episodes left tho' until the mid-season finale, then we have to wait till next year for the second half of season 6 to come back, ugh, it's going to be a long few months, lol.  Walking Dead is most definitely my favorite TV series of ever although Breaking Bad is right up there nudging WD for the fave TV series spots in my life, LOL :) And, it's been SO GOOD this season too!!!

Saturday night Casey and I went to some friends Post Post Halloween Party, they do it every year a couple of weeks after Halloween, which is awesome, cuz' I hate saying goodbye to Halloween, so, we get extra of it each year, it's nice!   Casey and I went as black cats and had so much fun with super awesome and amazing friends, old and new, yay, good times.

For my party nails, I decided to do some cat stamping on them and I love, love, love the way they turned out. I've gotten a couple new nail stampers that actually work really well and not crappy like the cheapie drugstore ones I had and I also got more stamping plates, still have some on the way and a wish list for others I want.  Stamping is fast going to become one of my favorite things to do on my nails, it's fun and so cool.  You can Google many different stamping tips, advice and tutorials if you are interested in getting into stamping and there are so many different plates and options out there, but, if you do get into it, make sure to get a good stamper and not a sucky one, it makes a world of difference.

I used a base of China Glaze "Sugar High" then stamped the cats on my thumb and ring fingers using Messy Mansion plate MM50 and stamped the paw prints using Konad M91 plate, then put a coat of Pretty & Polished "Halo Top Coat" on them all and was good.  Hope you like them, I do :)

Here's Casey and me at the party, we do make some dern cute cats :)
Here are my friends, the party hosts, Nick and Leah, two of my very favorite people in this entire world, they are just so awesome, good people, I love them so much.  They were AristoCats for the party, don't they look amazing :)
And, here is the rose Casey brought home for me today, he's so sweet and so sweet to me, I love this guy so much, he's a good guy :)

That's it for now.  Have a great rest of the night and I'll talk to you all soon for sure!!!

Sponged Nails

Happy Friday YAY!!!

Yay, we made it to the weekend, yay :)  Do you have any fun weekend plans? I do, two friends have a post Halloween party every year a couple weeks after the holiday and I love that they do this.  While everyone else is all about the Christmas season, here we are still in Halloween mode, yay :)  Casey and I are going to be going as black cats. We are also making homemade potato salad and cupcakes to take with us.  I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun.  I love their parties, good times with even better people, yay.  I'll for sure get pics and post them after the party!

Today I have two sponge manis I did this past week.  The first one I did using cut up sponges and the second one I did using eyeshadow applicators.  I love sponged nails so much, they are easy, fun to do and look really pretty when you are done and depending on the sponge and the material they are made of you can get several really cool looks using different varieties of sponges.  I have several different sponges for nails.  I simply cut one up into small pieces then put some polish on a paper plate, then dip the sponge into the polish then dab into my nails.  I do the same when using the eyeshadow applicators.  Here you go, hope you like them.

I used a base of Essie "Romper Room" here and sponged Essie "Play Date", Essie "Salt Water Happy", Essie "Cascade Cool" and Essie "Chillato" on my accents, then did a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on my accents and a coat of Indigo Bananas "SF 35 Holo Top Coat" on the rest.  I love the colors in these. I think they look really pretty together.

My nails and Miss Betty, the cutie patootie :)
Romper Room on it's own, this is a pretty pale pink and I do love me some pastel pinks for sure!

Here I used a base of China Glaze "Red-y To Rave" and sponged with China Glaze "Be More Pacific", Essie "Strut Your Stuff", Sally Hansen Extreme Wear "Royal Hue" and Kleancolor "Lavenbaby", then put a coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top of the sponged nails, then a coat of Orly "Fifty Four" on the rest.

Red-y To Rave on it's own.

I'll be doing black cat nails for the party tomorrow night using one of my cat stamping plates I have and will try to get them posted on Sunday.  Have a great rest of Friday night and a great weekend.  I'm off to make my cupcakes now, yay, then some snuggle time with Casey and the kitties!  Ahhhhh....life is good and here's Miss Betty looking entirely too cute for words, she just melts me and melts this, this little cat.  I love her so much :)
And, here's Dino looking handsome :)  I love black cats so much!!!
