Holy Holo Day & Walking Dead Day, Yay!

Hello all,

Happy Holy Holo & Walking Dead Sunday!  Harley, above, say's "Bwooff....Bwoofff..".  That's Mom and Dad's sweet therapy dog, Harley.  She's a great dog, I love her, I love Labs, such good dogs!

Hope you are all well.  It's alright here, Summer came, it's about 40 degrees out today, yay!  It's not bad at all today except of course the 4 or 5 inches of snow we got, yuck, but, it's warmer today and Spring is about to be sprung soon.  I am so  ready!!! I spent the weekend going thru stuff and purging stuff along with starting to organize/get ready some of my camping gear since Spring really isn't that far away and neither is Spring PDF (our regional burn), yay!

So, I decided that I wanted to do a little series here with my nails and all of the holo top coats that I own that you put on top of any polish to turn it into a holo polish.  I love my holo topcoats.  I will be using a different holo for the next 11 manis I do.  When I get done with this post I am going to paint all the holo top coats on a nail wheel and post next post, then again at the end of my series for comparisons.  I love holo top coats, you don't have to buy a bazillion holo color polishes, just holo top coat any creme (that's all I use as a base for my nails) and boom, holo polish of any color you want :)

I hope you will enjoy all the pretty bling and sparkle over the next "Burner's Dozen" manis.  "Burner's Dozen" is the burner (Burning Man) version of the "Baker's Dozen" which is plus one and us crazy burners are definitely so minus one, lol, so, we get the burner dozen of eleven :)

I am also going to be using indie glitter accent nails thru this as most of the holos are indie polishes that I buy online.  I also do like to support the indie polish girls, they put heart into their mixing.  Onto the nails ;)

For these, I used a base of Orly Bonder, two coats of Sally Hansen Extreme Wear "Wing It" on all nails, then one coat of Candy Laquer "Sugar Baby" (indie) on my accent nails, then one coat of Indigo Bananas SF 35 Top Coat (indie) on the other nails, then finished all nails with one coat of Seche Vite Quick Dry.  I love these Candy Laquer glitters, they are so vibrant and pretty and the glitter goes on very nicely, you don't have much placing to do, it's great small glitters that I love.  I have 4 other Candy Laquers that I will use thru this series also. .

                                                          Polishes Used:
Bonder, Wing It, Sugar Baby, SF 35 Top Coat, Seche Vite

Wing It by itself, a really pretty purple, this is out on displays now for Spring.

That's it for today.  I want to start working on my nail wheel painting.  I love swatching glitters and sparkles, it makes me happy, then it's Walking and Talking Dead, yay!  I'll talk to you tomorrow for the second holo post of the nails I did today.  Hugs and loves and hugs :)
